"I'm gonna need to see your ID ma'am."

I pulled out the fake ID. I was only 17, one year away from legally buying spray paint in this shit hole of a town, but I've been using the same fake ID for three years now.

"Vanessa White?"

I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Yes, yeah that's me."

The lady behind the counter smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. No, that wasn't my name, it was Skylar Jackson. I was sure she knew I was lying but she had no proof so I stayed silent.

"Just don't do it anywhere around here. I don't get paid enough to scrub your nonsense off these walls."

She shoved the receipt in the bag.

"Yes ma'am."

I winked and swirled around quickly walking away.

I shut the door to my black SUV. The only good thing that ever came of my mom's new rich boyfriend. He bought it for my sixteenth birthday just last year, trying to win my approval. I accepted the gift but never in a million years would I ever approve of him with my mother. I clicked my seatbelt in and the car came to life with a roar. I then switched on the headlights, it was pretty dark outside. I turned the music up as Drake's voice blared threw my stereos. As I backed out of the parking spot a black truck pulled up directly behind me and stopped. I slapped my hand down in the horn in annoyance. The boy inside glanced at me and winked as he pulled forward. I was hardly able to pull out before I heard from his car.

"How about movin a lil faster sweety."

I rolled my eyes and sped around his large car.

"Ugh men." I stated in a snobby tone.
