It's been a month since I last found a somewhat clear wall to paint. There was simply no more too. For my art in this tiny town. I thought about going back to check around the place I called "Europe" because of that beautiful piece that beautiful boy created on the same wall as mine. I had been contemplating going back there for a while now, not sure what I'd do if I saw him there again. I convinced myself I wasn't going for him and decided to go.
My heart fluttered when I saw his black truck. I stepped out and slammed my door hoping to get his attention though he was nowhere in sight.
"Well, well, well. Haven't seen you in quit some time."
I spun around on my heals, startled.
"Oh...i..i uhm.."
God I couldn't even speak. He was less then a foot away and I wanted him closer.
"I didn't catch your name."
He stuck his arm out to me and smirked at my nervousness.
"It's..."
Had I really forgotten my name?!
"Skylar."
Thank god I remembered.
"Nice. Mines Erik."
I smiled and accepted the hand shake.
Erik: "So what brings you back here?"
Skylar: "I couldn't find anywhere else to put my next piece."
Erik: "oh, I've got some space over here if you want."
He led me me to a bigger wall around the corner.
"Perfect! Thanks!!"
Shut up Skylar why do you sound so excited over some space. He chuckled as if reading my mind.
"No problem."
