" You were supposed to be home two hours ago Skylar! What were you doing?!"
"Mom I told you I was at Veronica's working on a school project okay? Sheesh!"
Typical teenage attitude along with a typical excuse, I know.
"You're grounded child! give me your keys now!!"
I stomped into the kitchen where she stood angrily. I looked her in the eyes, gave her a rebellious smirk and tossed my keys in her direction. Walking I to my room, I slammed the door right as my mother yelled, "GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!" so I opened the door and repeated the line I had used so many times from Lilo and Stitch.
"I'm already in my room!"
Like a child, and slammed the door once again. I flipped down on my bed and clicked the T.V. onto drown out my mother's voice. I could still hear her talking to Ivan (her rich boyfriend) so I turned the volume up and soon drifted off into a deep sleep.
