Nominal Nomenclature

As you can observe with the titles, naming is very important to me.  I use alliteration in my chapter headings to add a semblance of sophistication.  The same applies for the vocabulary.

When you give a name to any nouns you come up with - be it a person, place, or thing, - you are giving them personalities.  These personalities are usually extensions of your own personalities or are based on your beliefs and experiences.  A name is used to identify an object or organism, and that identification is how they are seen by the world.  If you name someone Snail, they would seem slow or might hide behind a figurative (or literal) shell.

The reason why I wrote all this was because of a major slip up.  It was a rookie mistake, but if I hadn't deleted the post it might have proven catastrophic.  You see, everyone hides behind many masks, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing.  However, these aliases and personalities were created for a reason, and those reasons are usually well founded.  This is why it's paramount that no one reveals their given name unless necessary, because doing so may be dangerous or uncomfortable for the person.  They are taking off a mask they created for a reason, and once they do it shows that they don't need it anymore.  The same is not true to me, which is why I beseeching you all to forget my other alias if you saw it in the now deleted post.

Stay exemplary,
