There are a few questions people ask.
Who?
Where?
What?
When?
How?But the question I always like to ask is why? Sure, the other questions are also important. They have pretty specific answers. But why is open ended. It leaves room for doubt. It is the question that drives inquisitive scientists around the universe. It inspires philosophers and conspiracy theorists. It is the fuel for what makes humans truly intelligent. You never see computers ask why. They always ask every other question, but never why. Asking why is what makes us human. It's what keeps us wondering at the universe around us. It's what makes us come up with solutions, just to discover that it's not the only answer.
This is a reason why we should always ask ourselves. What's the purpose? Why does this happen? Why do I exist? It's not the only reason, but it is enough for someone to go search for answers.
Here are some questions to keep your mind busy.
Why do we need landfills?
Why do people find reasons to hate others?
Why should or shouldn't Mars be inhabited by humans?
Why were humans brought into existence?
Why is education essential to the advancement of the human race?
Why do people in power tend to abuse it?
And finally,
Why are you important? All of these questions have innumerous answers that you all should look for.
