(Y/N Pov)

I could feel them inching closer as the dangerous, red aura moved. They were inches away from the barrier when I pivoted around, my spear inches away from them, causing the to stumble backwards, falling to the ground. I moved closer, my spear passing through the barrier, driving the blade into their chest, my teeth gritted as my heart pounded against my chest.

"Holy fuck!" They shouted, vibration moving through the spear as they grabbed it.
Their voice sounded masculine, Cold, and devoid of all feelings. They seemed slightly startled, but, not by all that much.
"They should be dying!' I thought angrily, pushing down hard on the spear.

"Okay! Okay! Knock it the fuck off, will ya!!" They shouted, pressing down on my spears end causing it to Snap. I fell forward, the barrier catching me and pushing me back with forceful push of energy.

I tumble to the ground, catching and using the dull metal pole to lift me to my feet. It was so much lighter and I couldn't help but drag my fingers to the end of it, it was jagged and sharp. I took a deep inhale as the aura around the figure began moving, their hand moving and feeling the force that kept us separated.

"The fuck is this...." I heard them whispering, a cold gaze falling upon me as they dragged a hand on the barrier. I straighten my stance, twirling around and,
Spinning the pole around between my fingers and shoving the end I would keep towards me when holding into the nose area of the figure.
The figure fell to the ground as they rolled around, their hand moving to their face.
I stood tall with a wide stance, my grip on my once spear staring to hurt as I focused on the figure.

"How the hell did you get here..." I grimaced, swinging into their side causing them to yelp. "SPEAK, YOU SWINE!!! Before I call hell upon you..."

The figure laughed quietly as the rose to their feet, ramming against the barrier, arms spread as if they were holding prison bars, the surprise causing me to flinch. "Call Hell upon me?!" They said unsettling, breathless laughs escaping their mouth. "What are you!? Some kind of damn poet or shit! Listen here, Bitch, I need to tell you something..."
They rammed a knife through the barrier, the barrier stopping it from going much further. "I don't care what voodoo shit you're doing, but it ain't scary.. It's pathetic! If you take a look at yourself! You'll see you're just as pathetic!" They hissed with laughter, their breath raspy.

Honestly, I don't think they can see either, if they looked closely, they'd see my eyes..my mothers description of them, embedded into my head. White...no pupil or iris..just white..shattered...bleeding glass. "SHUT UP AND ANSWER MY QUESTION, ROACH!!!" I shout, hitting them in the head, except this time, it didn't seem to do anything.

The scoffed, arms crossed. "I was...Taking a nice walk.." they said, the aura surrounding the knife showing his had it up against his face.

They froze when a growl came into ear shot and...They ran off and I was greeted with my Hamilton. He growled at me, disappearing and reappearing next to me. "You got food, You are a good boy," I say, Picking the books up happily. "Let's go back."

We make are way back, My feet making contact with the woods floors of the patio. I place one of the pile of books onto the ground, feeling around and grabbing the handle, opening the door for Hamilton. I pick up the stack of books, leaving the door wide open as I went in, making my way up the stair case and placing them next to a bookshelf, pondering how someone found the barrier..If they were just on a walk...wouldn't it be easier for others to find me...

"Grrrrr...." Hamilton growled, sitting down besides me, a small laugh coming from me as I stroked beneath his chin.

"What about the children you saw?" I asked, going down the steps, Hamilton Following me.

"Grrrrr..."Hamilton growled, my interest sparking Greatly.

"Yes, Yes..I know..I love children to, but we could never care for one, no child should be subjected to this torment here." I respond, walking beneath the stairs into a room, Hamilton growling again. "Putting up a school for children who are suffering or extraordinary? When did I turn into Mrs.Peregrine?"

Hamilton once again growled at me. "You want me to teach them? What do I have to teach? I don't have powers and, I swear to god if you say, If I don't have powers, The how can you see?! BECAUSE!! I DON'T KNOW!!!"

I scoffed at Hamilton, arms crossed and quickly walked off guiding myself to my room, shutting the door with a slam and laying down on the old fashioned bed, shutting my eyes with a heavy sigh.

"It would be nice to have others around..." I mumble.
