The Twin of Meliodas

Zadora

"Hi, I'm Zadora." She announced to the small gathering of people around a table inside the Boar's Hat.

"Are you really Sir Meliodas's twin sister?" Asked the girl. Her name was Elizabeth she had said.

"Yep!" She said with a grin, "Daughter of the De-"

Meliodas cut her off. Something about the vibe and look her was giving her told her to shut up.

He cleared his throat.

"This means we'll have an extra person to help us get back our sacred treasures!" He said.

The boy named King tilted his head a little, and gave Zadora a look she was all too familiar with.

He was assessing her, trying to figure her out.

Honestly, she wasn't even able to understand herself half the time either.

That's part of what made her dangerous.

"Where were you exactly?" Said King.
"I mean, you just came crashing down from the high heavens on top of the bar."

She looked at Meliodas, silently pleading him to save her.

The truth was, she'd been guarding purgatory, but she couldn't share that with these people who had never met a demon before.

Well, At least, someone they knew was a demon.

She and Meliodas were the only exceptions. They just didn't know it yet..

"From what I remember," Meliodas said, choosing his words carefully,"She had been guarding the seal that keeps the demon race sealed away."

She nodded

"Demons?" Asked Elizabeth.

Zadora nodded.

"You two really do look a lot alike." Said Diane the giantess.

Meliodas look over at his twin and smiled. She returned the grin.

"Hey captain, mind it I talk to you?" Asked King.

"Sure." Meliodas replied.

They walked off to the other room.

"What's the matter King?" I Said.

"It's Zadora. Something about her makes me feel strange..."

I tilted my head. "What do you mean?"

"She feels unnatural..."

He frowned. "I just mean, she radiates power unlike a human, fairy, or giant."

*Flashback*

I heard screaming. A terrible scream of agony.
I turned, and saw my twin sister on the ground. Writhing in pain.

"ZADORA!" I called out.

She raised her head.

"GO!" She screamed, "RUN, THEY'RE SEALING THE DEMONS!"

I stepped back. On her forehead, her demon mark was getting larger. Her green eyes, the same as mine, were clouding over with black.

Her assault mode.

I could feel my mark appearing, my eyes turning black.

"RUN!" She yelled.

I turned and ran. I couldn't see where I was running because my eyes were overflowing with tears.

I was probably never going to see my only twin sister ever again.

I heard her cry out, and then all was silent.

My twin sister had been sealed for a crime she never committed.

I heard the black lightning crackle around me.

My breathing quickened.

I yelled out to the wind.

I lost control.

*Real time*

"Captain?" King Said.

"Yo!" I replied.

"Answer me!" He yelled.

I frowned. "She's my sister. She saved me countless times. I trust her with all my heart."

King looked away.

"She's not a human. Is she? And neither are you for that matter." King glared at me.

"What are you trying to say?" I said.

"Tell me what you two are." Said King.

I looked away.

"Oh, I see how it is." He said, "I'll find out one way or another."

He flew out of the room.

I sighed.

There was no way he could find out. All the people who knew were sealed away.

But then, how was Zadora able to break her seal?

He would just have to ask her later...
