Chapter 9

I edited this chapter. And what i mean is i just added more to it lol enjoy!

I waited...and waited...

I waited for Sesshomaru to return but he never did. Eventually I fell asleep and before you know it, its was morning.

"Good morning M'Lady!" Rin comes in with her smile. Bright as ever.

"Morning my lady. We must get you ready. We have a very important guest for you to meet."

"Oh? Do you know who by any chance Rin?"

"Nope! Sorry I don't! Hey hey! Can we go to field today if you're not busy with Lord Sesshomaru?!" She asks me with pleading eyes.

I chuckled.

"You're so cute Rin. Of course we can! I can't wait!" I tell her with a smile.

"Yaaaaaaayyyy!!"

Rin runs out the room as she excitedly shouts.

"Alright. I'm ready."

The demon leads to the main hall. I enter.

"Y/n."

I glance up to see Sesshomaru standing in front of me.

"May I introduce you to my mother, Inukimi"

"Oh? You must be y/n. I am Sesshomaru's mother."

"Nice to meet you."

"My son has told me you are one of legends. Is that true?"

"I would not say legend but...."

"You are the last of of your kind, are you not?"

I stood there, taken back by her question.

"Yes. I am." My expression saddens remembering all those I lost.

"Ah my Sesshomaru. Both you and y/n will are strong pups! I cannot wait!" She went to Sesshomaru smiling with her eyes closed.

Sesshomaru stood there, staring at me for a moment before ignoring his mother and walking towards me.

He puts his hand on face and rests it on my cheek. I stare at his golden eyes wondering what he is thinking about.

"Ahem. So when will the mating process begin?"

"The announcement for all the federal Lords is tomorrow."

"Eh? EH?!"

~~~ later in the day ~~~

All day. Everyone has been running around getting everything ready. I suppose getting ready for the Lords having a meeting is a big deal. I've heard of these. But never attended one.

Rin runs around in the garden that Sesshomaru has.

"Y/n! When you and Sesshomaru marry....you will be my new mother!" Rin says once she ran to me.

Her smile....

I give her a sweet smile in return.

"Rin. Would you like to see something?"

"Yes. What is it?" She looks at me curiously.

I place my hand on the ground and my hand starts to glow green. It stops glowing and a moment passes, before flowers start sprouting from the ground where I had my hand.

Rin gasps.

"My lady! What kind of flowers ate these?!" She asks while watching them bloom.

"They're called Sunflowers. Rin...when you smile. You always make everything shine brighter. Just like these Sunflowers. They remind me a lot of you."

"Thank you y/n!!" She hugs me.

I kneel down so that way I'm eye level to her.

"Rin. I know I can never replace your mother. But I will always be there to protect you and help you whenever you need it."

"Thank you y/n..." she says as tears pile up in her eyes.

She quickly wipes them away.

"Y/n. May I pick the sunflowers so I may show Lord Sesshomaru?"

"Go ahead. I can grow them whenever you want me to."

Rin picks the flowers and runs off to show Sesshomaru.

"I'm glad you get along so well with her..." I look toward the direction the voice is coming from, to see Inukimi.

"You will surely be a great mother. I hope you and Sesshomaru bear pups soon." She smiles then walks away.

I didn't respond. I look back where Rin had ran to with a hint of red showing on my face.

To have pups with Sesshomaru that means we would have to mate....

The rest of the day went by. And before you know it. It was time for bed. I took a bath already and I just sat on the bed thinking about tomorrow. After a few moments I decided to lay down.

After a few minutes Sesshomaru walked in. I heard sounds and movement then felt weight on the bed. I felt an arm pull me close to a bare chest. I blushed. Sesshomaru nuzzled his face in my neck smelling me. Growling. Causing me to unexpectedly jump.

We both fall asleep in no time ....
