7 months have gone by since Grace left her life in New York behind. Paris has been good to her, and a certain someone has been very good to her. She couldn't be any happier with how far she has come and how much the opportunity taught her.
With an entirely new outlook on her life and the Fall semester approaching, Grace is heading back to NYU for her sophomore year. Her return brings back plenty of memories, some accepted with open arms, and others avoided at all costs...those others involving a certain curly-headed boy that hadn't spoken to her in 7 months.
When Grace meets up with her old friends, it's hard to ignore the pesky thoughts eating away at her brain. As much as she wants to pretend otherwise, her curiosity gets the best of her...
Where is the boy who had taken her heart hostage all those months ago?
Grace soon finds out that she isn't the only one asking that question. In fact, everyone is. Although the boy is still seen with his hood up, stalking down the halls and sitting in the back of classrooms, he couldn't be any further gone.
Time does a lot to people...but can Grace ignore the torturous thoughts in the back of her mind telling her something is terribly wrong? Or was all of her sympathy for the boy left behind in the soccer field parking lot?
It doesn't take her long to find out the answer, but sometimes, things are better left unsaid.
