Chapter 18

You weren't sure if Sebastian was joking or not. You and the Phantomhive servants started nervously laughing together until you looked around and saw everyone else, even Pluto, with the same serious expression.

"You aren't joking...?" You asked and Sebastian shook his head 'no'. "Who here is a demon, might I ask?" You look around to see Pluto, Sebastian, Claude, Hannah, the triplets, and John with their hand up. You eyes rested on Ciel and Alois.

You were surprised that the blonde boy didn't raise his hand. He looked at you kind of confused. "What is it dear?" Ciel growled at his use of the word 'dear'.

"O-Oh nothing i-it's just that-"

Alois laughs hard. "You thought I was a demon? No my dear I really am not but I do have a deal with one." Alois sticks out his tongue to reveal a symbol on it. You stepped back, shocked. The Phantomhive servants were just as speechless. "Go on now Ciel! Show her yours!"

You look at Ciel in disbelief. 'There's no way that Ciel made a deal with a demon.' He pulls off the eyepatch he always wears to reveal a purple, glowing symbol. 'Oh my god he did.'

"Master?!" Bard, Meyrin, and Finny exclaim in unison.

You step away from the table, away from the boys. You turn your back to them and try to grasp what you're being told. "_____ I-"

You shushed Ciel, and when he tried to speak again you shushed him again. Sebastian came to you and began comforting you. "I know it's hard to understand my Lady but just try." You pushed your head into his chest and softly wept. You heard stories of people who sold their soul not living too long and you didn't want that to be the case.

'Elaine must have made I deal too. She's dead because of it.' John walked over and placed his hand on your head.

You looked up into his purple eyes with your (e/c) ones. "Lady Elaine made a deal with my sister but Abigail violated the rules of the contract. She should have never taken the young mistress' soul and she shouldn't be coming for you now. But we'll protect you." He motioned to the group behind you. "We all will." Everyone had a determined look on their face.

"Thank you." You spoke in a small voice.

Sebastian explained why you carried your sister's contract and how Abigail broke the contract. As everyone sat around talking, you helped Meyrin make everyone tea and you told Sebastian to stay seated because you wanted to help. The Trancy servants offered their help but you wanted to do it anyway.

You came back a few minutes later with the tea and Meyrin came bounding in close behind you with all of the guests dishes and cups.

She fell onto you but thankfully before you spill the tea John catches you Sebastian and Claude grab Meyrin and the dishes. "Wow you lot must really be demons. No one could avoid a situation like that if they weren't." You laughed at Meyrin's comment. She really is useless sometimes.

"What are you doing sitting there Hannah!?" Alois screams. "Quite acting like a useless tart and help her dammit!"

Before she has the chance to move you say, "Alois don't you dare talk to her like that! I can't believe you could even say such a thing to someone who tries hard to care for you!" The table chatter runs quiet and everyone looks back and forth between you and Alois.

"She is useless! Maybe if I poke her other eye out I would at least get some proper entertainment out of her!"

You gasp and run over to Hannah to check her eye. "How could you poke her eye out?" Hannah allows you to see her eye and it reminds you of when you found your sister dead without her eye. You slowly walk away and cover your mouth.

"Now look what you've done you bloody tart! You made her-"

"Don't you say another word Alois! I don't care who the hell you are, you don't treat people this way!" The blonde boy sat silent for a moment.

"It's fine my Lady. I deserved-"

"No it's not fine Hannah. If he harms you again tell me and I'll set him straight." A look of determination and frustration rose to your beautiful features.

"A-Alright ." When you turned to Alois he looked small and a little scared. You made your way back to the tea pot and heard one of the triplets say, "I've never seen the Master shut up so easily." "Yeah me neither." Said another one. "Yep." Agreed the last.

You smiled at the boys and poured them tea. Again you heard them talk but this time it was about something else. "She's got major jugs for a 16 year old." "Tea and a show." "I like when she bends over."

You quickly stood up and sped walked to Ciel and hid behind him. "So you've heard the triplets fowl mouths, have you?" Claude pinched the bridge of his nose and Ciel and everyone else at the table glared at the three stoic boys.

"Moving on," started Ciel. "We will all be staying in my manor until we find this woman and kill her." The demon butlers smirked causing everyone to tremble slightly. "____ will always have at least two people with her at all times and at least three if she goes into town. One to drive and the others to watch her. Hannah's sword will be crucial to the plan as her sword is the only thing that can kill a demon so I think it's best that Hannah stay with ____ a lot." Everyone agreed. You didn't like the idea of being followed all the time but you understood it's propose.

"Let's all get back to bed. I can't keep my eyes open a minute longer." You said and the humans agreed while the demons were indifferent.

Sebastian showed Alois to his room. Alois wanted to sleep with you but Ciel forbade it and pulled you into his room and pulled your backside into his chest and held you there tightly.

You laughed when he did things like this. It made him, the powerful guardian of the criminal underworld, seem childish and small. You rubbed his hand and said goodnight to the pouting boy. He returned it and you both soon fell asleep with Hannah watching over you as your guardian for the night.
