TRIGGER WARNING:

Okay boys and girls, this chapter is going to contain some abuse. However, I'm not going write it in detail, meaning I'm not gonna include EXACTLY what's going on but just the emotions and the pain of it all. (I'm not sure if that makes sense?) So if you don't wanna read that part, I will put a warning banner before and after the scene so you can skip it.  I hope you enjoy!

ALSO IMPORTANT: I CUT A CHAPTER OUT. Meaning THIS is the last chapter, and I will be writing an epilogue after this (and I MIGHT even add a sneak peak into the sequel c;) Thank you so so much for reading.

YOUR P.O.V

You'd managed to slip out of the cuffs just about 20 minutes after Jimmy had left, which seems practically impossible. But you had experience in the past with these types of situations. "This is gonna hurt, Juliet. But I gotta pull these things off of you. Twist your hands as I pull, okay? One, two, three." you tugged on the silver cuff as Juliet pulled in the opposite direction and twisted her wrists. "Ouch!" she cried out as her skin began to redden from the friction. "This isn't gonna work, Georgia. They're too tight." she watched you helpessly as you continued to tug. "God dammit.." You muttured as you tugged for a few more moments. "I can't just leave you here." you exasperated as you sat back down. "Why are you being so nice to me?" Her eyes narrowed as she watched you. "Just because you and I didn't get along before doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you for dead. That's just not right, nobody deserves that." You shook your head as you picked up a small pebble from the ground and flicked it at the wall beside you. "But.. I mean that's kinda what I was doing to you, isn't it? Trapping you." you could see the pain in her eyes even in the darkness. "You were manipulated. Seeing you now, you're not a bad person. You were just blinded by what you thought was love." she let out a sigh as you spoke. "Can I ask you something kinda personal?" you inquired. "Go ahead." she shrugged. You took a deep breath, trying to approach this topic carefully. "Why did you cheat on Andy?"

Juliet looked up at the broken ceiling and sighed once again, quieter this time as if it were only for herself. "I think I just stopped loving him. It was tour after tour after tour. And after each time he came home he slowly turned into a stranger. I still cared for him, I just wasn't in love with him." she looked back over at you. "Can I ask you something kinda personal?" she countered. "Sure." you bit down on your lip momentarily, wondering whether or not you should've been so inviting. "Why did you stay with Jimmy for so long if he abused you so much?" You stayed silent for a few moments before answering her, "I didn't have someone to tell me I was being tricked. Which is why I'm trying to tell you right now, that you're being fooled. Otherwise you'll end up like me, or maybe even worse." you could sense a truce. "Thank you." she breathed out. "For what?" your eyebrows knitted together, "Being human."

Your blood ran cold as you noticed lights reflecting off of the broken windows of the warehouse, followed by the familiar sound of a rumbling car. "SHIT." you gasped out as you struggled to slipped the cuffs back onto your hands, tears brimming your eyes from the anxiety bubbling up in your chest as you heard the warehouse door open and then slam shut. "Ah, Georgia.." Jimmy's eyes locked with yours in the faintly-lit darkness, tsking as he noticed your hands free from the cuffs. "And I was hoping you behaved yourself." he said in a soft tone, scaring you only that much more.

You were hyperventilating at this point, feeling cornered as Jimmy gave you a hard stare. "Do you remember what I do when you go against my orders?" Jimmy asked as his fingers slowly began to curl around the base where your neck met your jaw. Whack. Your head began to throb after it had met with something cold and hard, the dizzying darkness taking over your mind as you struggled to free yourself from it. But what was the point? This man was ten times stronger than you, and had the intentions of a sadist. Your entire body was shaking as you fratically grasped the ground beneath you, covered in dirt and paper and glass. The only thing you felt other than the extruciating pain coming from multiple parts of your body was the warmth of your own tears on your cheeks. The déjà vu of it all was frightening, and you felt like this could be the end. A shriek escaped your lips as you felt a sharp pain on your thigh, it could have been anything, but the pain was mind-numbing. And then boom, black.
