There wasn't supposed to be anyone else here. It was long after the shopping centre had closed, and she had just needed to sneak back in and grab her bag from behind the counter, but as she had headed back to the exit and towards her car, she had seen them. They were completely regular people, but instead of moving or even looking alive they just remained motionless and expressionless, standing along the walls staring at her. It sent chills down her back and she gulped down her anxiety just trying to focus on getting out the creepy situation. But as she tries to take a step forwards, she meets a resistance, something preventing her from moving away from the area. When she looks down, her eyes fall upon a pentagram, that she is standing in the middle of. She hears movement and her eyes whip up, her heart pounding heavily as she sees the people slowly moving to form a circle around her. Suddenly a splitting pain races through her head and she falls to the ground, her eyesight goes in a pattern of black and light, black and light, black and light, and she holds her head in her hands as she screams against the pain.

Do you really think you're in control?

The voice is in her head, in her body, in the building. Everywhere and nowhere, her and someone else.

You really think you have free will?

She digs her nails into the skin on her face, wanting the pain and the voice to stop, to leave her alone.

You obey me, you have no free will, and I will make sure you understand that.

And then she blacks out.

She comes too, but when she does everything is different. She's not curled up on the ground in pain and she isn't surround be a ring of people. She feels something wet coating her and when she raises her hand she sees blood. She slowly looks up and sees the bodies.

See how I control? The voice says. You are nothing without me.

She feels sick, everything in her revolted at what she has apparently done.

Oh, is the poor child feeling ill, but you didn't even get to enjoy the fun. Here why don't you finish this one off.

This time she doesn't pass out, but her body moves without her. She looks down and sees that she is atop a girl who is still breathing.

"No." She spits out through gritted teeth.

Yes. The voice says calmly, now... kill her like an animal, rip her throat out and let her bleed.

She can't stop herself as her face lowers to the girls neck. The girl doesn't move or fight back, she just stares up at the roof, calmly awaiting the much too soon kiss of death.

Tears start to roll down her eyes, as her hands grip the girls arms and hold her in place, not that she needs to. Her mouth meets the girls skin and she bites. She gags, but can't stop as she tears through skin. Blood starts pouring into her mouth and her tears fly down her face as she bites one final time and rips out the girls throat. As soon as she does this the hold on her breaks and she throws up and shoves herself away from the bodies. She retches, pushing herself into the closest corner and burying her head in arms.

You are mine, you have no free will. Remember this lesson.
