You save my tormented soul
You made me whole
You took my drowning hand in the river of darkness
From life full of emptiness
A sinner that has no direction
A person who lacks motivation
A person with no dreams
A person who commits many sins
But it is you that lifted me up
It is you that made me see the beauty of life
It is you who brought the light
You cleared up the darkness from my sight
I am no longer in the realm of darkness
I no longer feel emptiness
Because you brought happiness
To my hungry soul
