Book 1
Chapter 2

O rientation. That's what we were having right now. I guess I'm kinda happy classes haven't started yet but all that was being said, has been said before.

Suddenly I was snapped out of my random thoughts because I had heard snickers behind me.

And that's when I saw him. By him, I meant Ethan Jones. My bully.

I don't know how he did it and why he did it. But he had chosen me out of everyone in primary school to pick on. It wasn't because I was ugly or I wasn't nice or because I smelt bad. No, it wasn't that. Because in true fact, I was normal and loved to stay with Adante.

"Olivia Hollister, nice to see you again. Looks like you're finally starting to develop a little bit."

Wait for it...

"As if!" There you go... "You still look like the dead cat on my street! It's a wonder the windows and mirrors haven't broken yet due to your ugliness. Weirdo." Ethan spat in my face.

And then it hit me.

I have never stood up for myself or said anything to Ethan. Adante always fought for me, but right now, she was asleep on my lap. And she really looks like she needs it.

Then that's when I made a decision.

"Hey Ethan! I just want to say one thing. I'd rather jump down from your stupidity to your IQ than keep exchanging words with you. Leave me alone."

Those words had immediately made the flames of hatred in his eyes for me a hundred percent worse. There's no way in hell he was going to leave me alone now.

I literally called him stupid in front of the whole seventh grade.

My life's over.

Then he said "Trust me Hollister, you're dead."

Walking out of the hall, I started thinking about what I had said to Ethan.

Should I have just let him keep talking to me that way?

Was I meant to take his threat seriously and apologize?

Was I meant to report the bullying to an adult?

I thought about all these things and wondered what exactly it was that I had done to Ethan for him to hate me that much.

Addy was beside me as we made our way to the locker room. We had sports and we were to meet up at the gym for the continuation of orientation.

"Oh my God, did you hear about Olivia and Ethan? They're back at it again." A girl had said.

"Who didn't hear about it? Everyone knows she deserves it. She's disgusting anyway." Another girl had said.

"That's true. I even heard she's had sex with Mr. Collins." Her friend replied.

I stood outside the locker room shocked with what I was hearing. I had no doubt who those girls were - the Triple M's. They were Makayla, Michelle and Malorie. Meanest girls in Middle School and they had no pity for anyone. I also knew who had spread those rumours, it was Ethan.
