EMILY'S POV

I wake up with a sharp pain in my head.

"Ooh..my head!" I rub my face trying to stay awake.

"You're awake! How was your night?Adams walks in holding a cup of coffee and some pain killers.

He hands them to me.

" Horrible.. I had a weird dream. I was at a party and I was drunk." I tell him.

He laughs.

"It wasn't a dream, honey. You were drunk last night." He says.

If i was wasn't with Adams last night then who did i have sex with?

I was drinking with karma and then..

Omg!!

Its him.
I had sex with Karma!

"What wrong, honey? Take your medicine." Adams says looking at me.

I should tell him.
But how?
How do i tell my husband I slept with another man?

I took the drugs.

"Tha..nks hon" i manage to say.

I was still in shock of what happened last night.

I couldn't even look at my husband in the eye and tell him everything.

"I need to go to work now hon." He says putting on his shirt.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything?" He asks me looking worried.

" Uhh..no I'm fine."I force a smile.

"Alright! Bye" He kissed me and leaves.

I sigh.

How long will I keep this from him.

I push my cart to the cosmetic section.

I pick out some shampoo and body wash.

"Hello my love." A voice says from behind me.

I turn around.

"You again? What do you want karma?" I give him a disgusted look.

"I enjoyed last night. And I know you did too. I -"

"Oh stop it. What happened last night was a mistake."
I say quietly, trying to control my anger.

"We ended things years ago. I'm married now, so stop this nonsense." I turn away from him walking out.

(1 year later.)

I hear the door open from the kitchen.

"Welcome dad." Brenda says.

I walk in.

He picks her up and she giggles.

"How's my baby doing?" He asks kissing her forehead.

"Fine daddy." She smiles.

"Welcome hon." I hug my husband giving him a kiss.

Thanks love. I invited my friend over for dinner, hope you don't mind?" He asks me.

"Not at all love. Who's he?" I ask taking his briefcase.

"Someone i met few months ago. He's actually my new lawyer. "

"Oh! Okay then. I'll prepare something nice." I smile.

"I'm famished. He'll be here in few minutes."

"Hmm..you know the rules hon. Go freshen up first." I smile, turning around and heading upstairs.

He follows from behind.

"Mum, can I go off to Molly's please. Please mum, can I? Brenda says, giving me a puppy face.

She looks adorable when she does that.

"Alright! Sure you can."
I yell to her from upstairs.

"Thanks mum." She storms out excited.

Adams was done bathing.

He was drying his hair while i helped him pick out his clothes.

I hear a knock on the door.

"Hon, I'll go check who's at the door. I'm sure it's our guest." I tell him walking out.

I head downstairs and straight to the door.

I open it.

Karma?

"Wh..what..are you doing here?" I stammer.

"Please leave. I told you it was a mistake karma. I want nothing to do with you. My husband is inside." I whisper.

"Oh really! We'll see about that." He smirks.

Oh God! I'm in trouble.

"You're here! Well come in."
Adams said from behind me.

Wait.. What the hell?

I turn around.

"Honey, what did you say?" I ask him feeling lost.

"Let him in hon! That's my friend and lawyer I told you about, Karma." He says.

God no. ..

No no.. Nooo

This can't be happening..

Not him..not Karma

I turn to face karma.

He gives me a glaring look and walks in, smirking.
