Crying (COMPLETED)

Chapter 4 - The Plan

Hey guys! What do you think will happen next? Will they escape forever? Who can they trust? Will they ever make it out alive?

     Ada was getting ready for work, and Ally came in. "Camilla is being mean..." Ally told her, Ada realized she was crying.

     "Hey hey hey..what's wrong? What did she do?" Ada put her arms around Ally, trying to comfort her. "She...she insulted me..and hit me..." Ally's voice faltered, as she told Ada what had happened. "Was Emily in the room?" She asked her. "No, she went to clean her car or something." Ally was no longer crying. 

     "Where did she hit you?" Ada asked her, looking for any signs that she had been hit. Ally showed Ada her arm, which had a huge purple bruise on it. Oh my God..what did Camilla do to give Ally such a bad bruise this soon after hitting her? 

     "Ally, what did she hit you with?" Ada was worried, a small 9-year-old fist couldn't make a bruise this big. "She used a board-like thing. I'm not sure what it was though." Ally replied, with slight confusion shown on her face. 

     Ada had kept Ally and Asher in her room, the guest room, while she got ready. She was going to take them to work with her. Ada knew she always would take them to her job, it was safer than anywhere, and they could have fun while they were there.

     When Ada was ready, she took them with her out of the house. She knew exactly where she was, but then, she heard a voice. "Where do you think you're going?"

     Ada whipped around, slightly afraid. She saw Emily. She looked kind of angry, and she had a strict expression on her face.

     "Didn't you hear me? Where do you think you're going?" She had her hands on her hips. Ada had a small surge of anger running through her. "Where I like, thank you." She replied, then added, "I am my own person, I can go where ever I want."

     Emily looked slightly shocked, "but you're pregnant!" She almost yelled at Ada. "So what? It's not like I want to be! I need to go to work anyway." Ada had some attitude in her voice, but not like Emily. "Not when you're living under my roof!" Emily almost lunged forward, and grabbed Ada by the wrists, Ally and Asher staring, as if they didn't know what to do.

     Ada shook her off, "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Ada screamed in her face, then yelled at her, "get away from me! You can't hold me here!" Ada knew how to fight, so did her siblings. Emily clearly didn't though.

     Ada screamed and yelled at her some more, they fought with words back and forth. Ada finally won the fight, and stopped. "Fine, you can go, but the kids stay with me!" Emily said, harshly. "I wasn't asking for permission! I don't need it! If you want the children to stay, your kid can stay, but my siblings will not." Ada turned around, got Ally and Asher, and walked away.

     Ada was still cooling off, by the time they got to her job, Burger King. There were two Burger Kings where they lived, so if Emily were to go get her, she would have to go to both. They were halfway across town from each other. 

     Ally and Asher had already gone to the play room, and Ada told them they needed to watch for Emily so if they saw her, they could hide. Ada told her coworkers that if somebody named Emily Foster came in looking for her, to tell her she wasn't here. Or if anyone except her younger siblings came looking for her, then she wasn't here.

     Ada was working pretty hard, her boss even told her so. She was on break so she got herself some food, since she worked there it was free. She got some for Ally and Asher and they ate in the play room. 

     They ate their food at the table, when Ada saw someone come into Burger King. It was their father. "You guys need to hide. NOW!" They ran into the jungle gym, Ada following them. They hid, and a few minutes later, they asked why they were hiding. "That's our father, we need to stay hidden until we're sure he is gone.

     Ada had explained to them everything, and when their father had left, they got out. Ada made sure the car he got in drove away before coming out. How did he find us? He left years ago.. Ada was unsure, but she did know one thing, they had to escape. From their mother, their father, Camilla, and Emily. 

     By the time Ada had finished work, Ally and Asher were asleep together in the play room. She sat by them for a little bit. She had enough money to buy an apartment with furniture in it already. I'll save my money until I have enough to buy two, so when I buy one I'll already have payment ready for the next time I will have to pay them. I should have enough by tomorrow.

     Ada was already getting a small baby bump, which she didn't like. Not one bit.  

     Ada woke Ally and Asher, it was time to make a plan. "What? What's going on?" Asher asked, clearly very tired. Ally just stared at her, not wanted to say anything. She was always the quiet one. 

     "So, we are going to make a plan to run away again. This time, from Emily and Camilla. Camilla hurt Ally, and Emily, as you guys know, tried to keep us at their house." Ada explained. then added, "I have something to tell you guys." They looked concerned and confused, as they should. They were young after all. 

     "Emily is our aunt. I heard her talking to our mother on the phone last night. She said she would be bringing us back to our mom in five days. Four days now. So, we need a plan to run away within that time. I already have enough money to buy an apartment, two actually, so by then, we will run and hide away from them there." Ada explained everything else, like how they would steal food from Emily's house while she and Camilla weren't home, that way they would last a while until Ada could buy some food. 

     "So, where is our apartment going to be?" Ally asked, curiously. "I'm not sure yet, but I do know we will move in soon. I'll go looking tomorrow after work, you guys will come with me. We will find the cheapest apartment possible that's still decent." Ada told them.

     After a while, Ada and her siblings were asleep in the guest room of Emily's house, and so far, nothing was going wrong. Ada told Ally and Asher not to leave the room without her permission, or until she was awake.
