Ryan slowly opened his eyes. Light shined in from the windows. He saw Brendon had been watching him.
"Good morning babe," Brendon quietly muttered.
"Good morning," Ryan said back.
They stared into each other's eyes until Ryan realized they were getting married today. He then frantically jumped up and pulled Brendon up with him. He smiled and spun around with Brendon. They were like four-year-olds, but it was okay. It made them feel young and free and careless.
Ryan felt like his stomach was going to explode because there were too many butterflies in it. He was so joyful. Just to see and talk to Brendon every day made his whole body tingle. He wanted this life all along. How did he survive without him for fifteen years? It was a wonder, but it didn't matter now.
Brendon wanted Ryan. He wanted him forever. But soon Ryan and Brendon would be married and they would be the unstoppable, unbreakable musical couple of all time. They already were. Everyone was ecstatic for them. Fans had cried and thrown parties for themselves, celebrating the reuniting of the two boys. For themselves. It wasn't just Ryan and Brendon. They didn't have to hide anything. Fans already had these envisions. They have wanted this since 2005.
Brendon then realized that some fucked-up person made the milk fic. Had Ryan read it? Would asking make things awkward? Would they ever actually do that? Brendon didn't think it would happen, but he didn't know all of Ryan's kinks yet...
They both got dressed in their casual outfits. They weren't going to wear their suits now. They would probably do something to ruin them and that was not a risk they'd take. It was 9:23 AM so they had exactly 2 hours and 37 minutes to prepare everything for the wedding.
They quickly ate breakfast and then started setting up tables in the yard. They set up tables with decorations and cute little lovey-dovey things. Catering trucks and a priest showed up.
It was sunny with a little breeze. Perfect. They finished setting everything up and by that time it was about ready for the wedding to start. Brendon's parents showed up and watched guests as Brendon and Ryan got changed. They were actually going to get married!
Everyone was snacking and there. Brendon's mother came up to tell them that everyone was there as his father continued watching the guests. She knocked on the door and startled Brendon and Ryan. They were butt naked, cuddling in bed. Brendon realized that either his mother or his father was outside the door. He freaked out. They forgot to get dressed and just cuddled for forty minutes!
Brendon rushed up, wrapped the blanket around Ryan so he was covered, and put on a robe.
He went over to the door and politely asked, "Hey, is everything ready already?"
His mother, Grace, responded, "Yes, everyone is ready. Now hurry up. I see that you aren't in a tux yet. I bet Ryan isn't either." She chuckled quietly.
Brendon's face flushed pink. She knows? Just by opening the door? He closed the door softly, not to bring any more attention to himself. Well, that was embarrassing. He looked over at Ryan and laughed. Ryan had been smirking through the whole situation. Brendon walked over to the bed and collapsed. He fell next to Ryan, smiled lightly, and kissed him. Brendon's full lips meshed perfectly with Ryan's thinner lips. Brendon broke free from the kiss, not wanting to, and pulled Ryan off the bed with him. He brought Ryan's tux to him.
"Now, get dressed. We need to get married today. Then we can be together forever and ever and I'll always love you, no matter what," Brendon said with a joyful look on his face. He meant every word he said.
"5...4...3..."
Ryan and Brendon were fully dressed, but they hadn't seen each other yet. Ryan was counting down so they could see each other, ready, at the same time.
"...2...1!"
They both came out of the little rooms in their master bedroom. They both gasped in amazement. What a beautiful, handsome couple!
"Oh my... I can't believe you are all mine. Forever. I love you," Brendon spoke with a gravelly, yet soft, voice.
"I could say the same for you, babe. I love you, too," Ryan told Brendon.
They kissed and pulled each other into an embrace. It all seemed like a dream. But this was actually going to happen. But in order for it to happen, they needed to get their asses downstairs.
They finally kissed one more time before leaving the room and meeting Grace downstairs. She raised her eyebrows giving a "So now you decide to come down" look. Brendon just smiled. What else could he do? He was going to get married to George Ryan Ross III.
Everything was falling into place. It didn't seem like anything could go wrong right now, but they didn't see it coming. No one did.
