Okay so these two were more than likely bi. They were probably big for each other and they talked- well wrote in the case of Thomas- quite a bit and they worked with each other. Not to mention they said that they loved each other in a few letters! So of being LGBT+ was accepted in the 1700's then this ship would more than likely have been canon so..... I love it! This is a great ship and so many funny scenarios could come from this, add Benjamin Franklin as the funny third-wheel and you've got yourself an awesome ship!
