Chapter Six

It was crazy how many people were piling in. I'd expect it if it was more of a  popular night club, but this was a hole in the wall. It made me wonder if this club was the only one in this town.

I was even more surprised when I noticed a couple of people who looked to be in high school. Was this place really that kind of club that would turn the other cheek just to get some more money. There isn't nothing I could do that would change it, I am not the owner.

While people gathered in, I started off with a slow beat something that they can easy dance to. My eyes traveled to the far right side where the bar is, I noticed Blake was awkwardly dancing as he talked to the bartender. I laughed a bit as I watched him for a bit longer before turning back to the crowd.

As more people started to dance on the floor, I kept the medium beat going before stopping it completely, only to bring the music back on louder and harder. This caused the people to go wild. I couldn't help but smile as I watched. I enjoyed this, I enjoyed watching them dance as they enjoyed my music in return.

Holding onto one side of my head phones with my left hand so I can get a better hearing of what I am doing, I use my other hand to mess with my keyboard. I bobbed my head to the music as I caught a glance at two of the teenagers that came in.

One had short wavy brown hair that barely made it to her shoulders, she was wearing a black tight crop top with a black short skirt. Those heels likes like she'll break an ankle. Her friend is a blonde whos hair goes down her mid back in curls. Her choice in clothing was better, she wore skinny jeans along with a red crop top.

They were awkwardly walking around, glancing at people as they slowly made their way to the dance floor. It was obvious that this must be their first time here. Deciding to pay more attention to what's important, I look back down at my set.

Hours went by as I changed up the different beats, it was close to one in the morning and that's when I'm suppose to change out with the other DJ. "Hey gurl!" Blake yells over the music as he stands in front of the stand. I could barely even hear him.

I nod my head at him and smile, there wasn't no point in trying to talk. If he wanted to talk then he can wait about 10 minutes till we can leave this place. Just as I was thinking that, an Korean man steps up and starts getting his equipment ready. He was older then me by what looks like a couple years. Once he finished he nodded in my direction, I turned my music off and he started his.

Rolling my shoulders back, I let out a moan as my back cracks. As quickly as I can, I packed up my equipment and carry it outside with me. Once outside I take a deep breath, fresh air enters my lungs. The nice cool crispy air of October nibbles at my skin, instantly cooling me done from the uncomfortable body heat that lingered in that building.

"That was fun! You are by far the best DJ that has worked there!" Blake shouts as he stumbles out of the building. I laugh as I watch him place his hands on his knees before standing straight up and stretching his limb. "Holy shit, it was like a sauna in there." He exclaims happily before throwing a sweaty arm around my shoulder.

"Eww." I laughed causing him to roll his eyes. "Lets go home." He mumbled right before he yawn. I nodded my head and we began to walk home. "Wait!" I voice yells catching both me and Blake in surprise.

We turn around to see those two high school girls running up to us. "Hey sorry, I just wanted to ask a question." The brunette gasped out. Blake and I glance at each other before I looked back at the two girls in front of me. "Yeah?" I asked tilting my head.

"Well I am Katie and this here is Laurie." She interduce herself along with her blonde friend. I waited for them to continue but they just looked between me and Blake. "Max and this is Blake." I said as I pointed at myself and then over to Blake.

"So there is this big party for Halloween at the old barn right outside of town." She stated with a nervous chuckle. "That's nice but I think I am to old to attend a high school party." I declared. Their eyes widen when they realised I knew the truth. Blake snickered as he elbowed me in the side.

"That's the thing though, we know you wouldn't want to party with a bunch of young high school students." Katie stated bitterly, causing me to cross my arms over my chest. "We would like you to be the DJ for the party." Her friend Laurie said nicely as she looked at me with a small smile.

"Sorry but my client only does jobs that grantee money." Blake declared, throwing an arm over my shoulder. I gave him a side glance and raised an eye brow. "She'll get paid! I'm the majors daughter, so just name your price." Katie exclaim proudly with her hands on her hips.

Blake and I looked at each other before looking back at the kids. I nodded my head and smile grew on my face. "Okay we will do it but since it is a Holiday, my client needs to be paid time and a half." Blake says with a smirk.

The two girls nodded their head and the brunette said name your price. If I got paid double time and a half, that would mean I would get paid 50 dollars per hour. "Deal." Both Blake and I stated together, causing all four of us to smile.

A/n - I'm basing Michael off the remake, but I'm not exactly going off the script. A lot of things will be different, but occasionally there will be similarities.

Also! Michael will be making his first appearance in the next chapter!
