The rustling of trees and the chaotic sounds of animals rush throughout the forest of absurdity. The land below me was curved, to twist from side to side in a flowing motion. As I looked up upon the trees, I can see that the leaves would turn black, the wood around me would shrivel, even the sky began to change purple. My breath ran to the shorten edge, I didn't care about who I bumped into. All of them looked the same to me. Monsters, beasts, all of them. To look as if these people were once human, deformed beyond my comprehension. What are they? It's gotten worse, the bodies of those who talk to me are of which I cannot seem to understand. They're fast, ferocious, almost like an animal. "Get out of my way!" I scream in exasperation. I see two bodies that stand by the trail as I run on. Just staring at me, to then twist their bodies and non-blinking eyes. From behind my back, I can hear the screaming of incomprehensible chatter. Laughter from the sides and the muffled yelling from behind. I cover my eyes while slowing down my pace. "Shut up! Get out of my head! Let me home, I want to go back! Help!" I say to myself. Again, the sounds of the screaming static, rock the inside of my brain. I take my hands off of my ears to then take off running once again. In a raspy gasp of air, I run harder than what my body could handle. My chest becomes tight, the air in my breathing becomes painful, as my sight begins to dim in lighting. My right knee buckles up for me to then tumble towards the right of the path. Flatland for miles to see in front of me, yet to my fall, I find some rocks to circle around an indention of a hill. Shrouded by the shade, I crawl towards its mental safety. The inside was shallow, yet it provided minimal light. I inch towards what I could make out was a natural stone backside within its entrance. The light shined through, yet it only created confusion if another person looked inwards from its entrance. The mouth of the niche then curved inward to the right. A secluded hideaway to live through the monsters of this world. It was perfect. I laugh to myself as I hugged the entrance to then turn around in an attempt to see what was beyond the entrance. The floor kept moving, yet it was now changing. Instead of swaying left to right, it was now vibrating in all directions. I felt nauseous, yet in the attempt to vomit I could hear the ragged footsteps of this unknown creature. I swallow to what could have come up from my stomach. I could see the creature come into focus. Its pure white body began walking around the black leaves of this warped purple forest. The monster looked around with its one bleeding eye within its forehead, to then have another crying eye in its stomach. Eyes to be the size of softballs, how can a creature live like that? Its fingers were sharp on its left hand as his right looked to be barren of white skin and nail. Wasn't to be a bone, yet it looked to be of the same black tar leaves. Sharp yet precise in where it stepped, it intentionally missteps the branches of this now dissolving forest. My concentration started to fade as the night slowly creeped out of the entrance upon this vast and dark drenched world. The white creature used one of its crying eyes to look beyond the niche as the bleeding eye looked within the area that I now lay towards. Staring once again, the eyes never blinked. The body of the white one freezes, to then vibrate in a buzz. The creature screams into the air only to run off beyond the entrance and into the wild once again. I didn't feel safe, it still felt as if everything was still around me. This purple world of darkness, I was never born here. It never felt like home. I sink further into this hole of mine. To then find a way to get as comfortable as I can within dirt and rocks of this natural indention. To look out one last time, I rest my eyes to slumber.
