It took few days. Until anything happened. Hippa walked around the forest. He could hear a car. He looked around. He could see a Taxi driving to the edge of the forest. Hippa hid. Jamison stepped out. Hippa stayed hidden, even though he wanted so bad to hug the one armed man. The man with one arm began to walk towards the cottage. Hippa kept his distance.
Jamie just kept walking. Hippa just followed him like a shadow. Soon he got to the cottage. The sauna was steaming. Jamison smiled slightly. Auterinen was probably taking a heat. Jamie just walked in. He looked around and noticed that the blanket was in different position as when he left. Was someone in there? Jamison began to look around. He didn't see anyone. Just the same ol' cottage. ''Has... Has Mako been here...?!'' He thought out loud. "Oh, you're back." Auterinen said, walking into the room
''Yea. I am.'' Jamison said. The short man ran over and hugged him. Jamie pat his head. ''I am fine, don't worry.'' He said. "Ye lost an arm!" ''Nah. It's alright.'' Jamie said. ''I have already lost my leg.'' "Ye, but still." Jamie smiled slightly. ''Everything I am worried about is Hippa.'' "Why's that?" Auterinen asked. ''I just... Am worried.'' Jamie said. Auterinen nodded slightly. ''Has he been here?'' Auterinen didn't answer. Jamie nodded slightly and sat to the bed. Auterinen looked at him and sighed, walking out. Jamie leaned on his left hand. He heard scratching outside the door. He looked there and went to open the door. It was a rabbit. Jamie looked at it and knelt down to it. It looked up at him. It wasn't Mako. Jamie sighed. ''Want some food, little guy?'' He asked.
The rabbit got up onto it's hind-paws, trying to reach Jamison's nose. Jamie knelt down. The rabbit bit his nose and bolted off a few meters, then stopping and turning to face him again, as if trying to see that he was still following. Jamie held his nose. ''Ow.'' Jamie said. ''Oh you want to play? That's fine.'' Jamie said, running after the rabbit. The rabbit ran off, stopping every now and then to sew if he was still behind it. Jamie followed the rabbit. He ran after it best he could.
It showed him to a cave, large enough to fit a bear. Jamie slowed down his running to the walking speed and started the cave. The rabbit hopped inside and checked if he was there. Jamie followed carefully. ''What is this place, lil fella?'' He asked. The rabbit ran into the cave, showing a smooth looking rock slab that looked comfortable enough to sleep on. Jamie looked at it. ''Where did you bring me?'' He asked with a small laugh.
The rabbit jumped onto the slab and laid down, spreading it's legs far apart. It was relaxed. Jamie looked at it and smiled slightly. Soon, once his eyes got used to the darkness, he saw drawings on the cave walls. He looked at it, walking closer. There were drawings of trees, and a shadowy figure with... A hat? He tilted his head, looking at the shadowy figure. It looked kind of like Mako. ''Mako?'' Jamison asked, lowering his shoulders. The rabbit nodded. ''Why...? Did he lead me here, lil fella? I-is something gonna happen...?'' He asked. The rabbit just jumped off the rock slad, hopping outside. ''Hey wait!'' Jamison shouted, running after the rabbit.
He ran straight into Hipppa Jamison followed. He looked at Hippa, stopping slightly bit farther. Hippa looked at him. Jamison looked back at him. They looked at each other intently. For what sounded like ages. Jamies mind was blank. He just... Stared. Hippa looked down, then going into the cave. ''D-don't...'' Jamie whispered. Hippa stopped ''Don't leave me again...'' He whimpered. Hippa looked at him. Jamison started walking towards him.
Hippa just stood there. He looked like he was about to cry. Jamie walked closer. So close Hippa was almost forced to take a step back. Jamison took a step forwards. Hippa took a step back. Jamison took a step forwards. Hippa backed away.
Jamison stopped at some point. He looked down. ''I-I see...'' He said. "I'm sorry...' Hippa whispered, looking down. Jamison turned around and began to walk away. He was sobbing, hand on his pocket. Hippa grabbed his arm. Jamison looked at him. "I don't want to stay away from you." Hippa said. "But I'm an Emuu.. I'm not allowed to leave the forest anymore." ''You don't need to... My home is this forest.'' Jamie said. Hippa looked at him ''I am not going anywhere. I am staying here. My cottage IS in the forest.'' Jamie said with slight smile.
Hippa nodded slowly. ''I am not going anywhere.'' Jamison said, rising his hand on Hippas cheek. Hippa looked into his eyes. Jamison looked to Hippas. Hippa looked tired. ''Have you been sleeping?'' The human asked, noticing the Emuus eyes. "Not much...' Mako mumbed. ''Why not?'' Mako shrugged, closing his eyes. Jamison pet his cheek. Tears started rolling down his cheeks. "Mako?" The human asked. ''Yea?" "What's wrong?" "I missed you..' Mako whispered. ''I missed you too.'' Jamie said. Mako nodded.
Jamie kept petting the Emuus cheek. Mako nuzzled the human's hand, slowly rising his own hand on top of Jamie's. Jamie smiled. He didn't move his hand away. Mako kissed his hand lightly. Jamie blushed, but smiled happily. Mako smiled a bit, wiping his tears away. Jamie kept his hand still. Mako opened his eyes, looking at Jamison. Jamie was still there. Armless. Just looking at Mako. Mako sighed and turned, pulling Jamie into the cave with him.
Jamie followed him. They sat onto the rock slab. Jamie looked at him and smiled slightly. Mako hugged him closely. Jamie hugged back best he could. Mako growled slightly. "You're an idiot Jamie..." ''W-what do you mean...? If you mean my arm I know...'' Jamie said. "I mean your arm." Mako nodded. ''No need to lecture...'' Jamie sighed. Mako laid down. Jamie kept sitting. ''I... I escaped...'' Jamie said. Mako huffed "idiot." ''I didn't want to go to department! I wanted back to you...''
"You should have gone." Mako sighed, moving his head into Jamie's lap. ''No.'' Jamie said shaking his head. He pet the Emuu. Mako sighed, closing his eyes. Jamie kept petting him. The Emuu nuzzled the human The human chuckled. The deity chuckled back at him and curled up on the mortal's lap. He smiled. Mako noticed something off however. Something hard under his head. ''What is it?'' Jamie asked. "You're hard." Mako chuckled lowly. Jamie blushed brightly. Mako just laid there, on the other's lap.
''S-sorry.'' Jamie said, looking away. Mako pet the human. Jamie smiled. "Don't worry about it.'' ''O-okay.'' The man said. Mako turned onto his back, now facing the human. Jamie smiled, looking at him. Mako chuckled, then setting a hand behind Jamie's head, pulling him down to a kiss. Jamison tensed, but kissed back. Mako kissed him long and gentle. Jamie didn't pull back. He wanted to enjoy it. Mako tasted bit like berries. Mako chuckled into it. Jamison smiled and let out a small chuckle, not breaking the kiss.
Mako deepened the kiss, sliding his tongue into Jamie's. Jamie let out a small eep of surprise, but kept the kiss, answering to every move Mako sat back up, keeping the kiss going. Jamie broke it for a very small bit to breathe, and then kissed again. Mako pet his head while they kissed. Jamie kissed back, answering to every move. "Hippa!" Came a booming voice into the cave. Hippa froze. Jamison froze also. They turned at the same time to look at the voice. It was Tapio. Jamison didn't back away. He stayed still.
Tapio marched in and grabbed Jamie. "You. Leave." ''No.'' Jamie said, ripping his arm away form the hold. "You're distracting him from his work!" Tapio raged. ''No I am not!'' Jamie raged back. "Yes, you are! He's here making out with you instead of lookinh over the animals!" ''Oh? Then why can you have a wife, if you can't accept this? Yes. I know about Mielikki.'' Jamie grinned. "Because she's a deity and does her job!" Tapio growled.
''And what blocks him from doing the same, mr. King of the forest?'' Jamison teased. "You." Tapio growled. ''And you and Mielikki don't stop each others?'' "No. We know when to and when not to ve affectionate!" ''And why can't he be?! As much as I recall, I haven't been here in weeks.'' "Because he's distracted by you." Tapio growled, Jamie's arm stump starting to turn to wood. Jamie didn't seem to care. ''If you want to turn me to wood, go ahead. It won't change a thing! I love him. Your power cannot change it.''
Tapio stared at him angrily. Mako stood up and grabbed the wooden part, his hand starting to turn to wood aswell. ''You cannot stop whats true.'' Jamison growled. "Tell me one good reason I shouldn't get rid of you right now." Tapio growled. ''I don't have one. But I think you care about Hippa. "I do and that's a reason to get rid of you." ''Or is it?'' Jamie teased. ''Just think of it. If he loves me, he will die with me. If not, thats fine too.'' Jamie said shrugging. Tapio growled, the wood stopping and disappearing.
Jamie grinned. He stared Jamison down, then leaving. The human sighed in relief. Mako hugged him closely. Jamie hugged back. ''Are you alright?'' He asked.
He nodded. ''Good.'' Jamie smiled. Mako kissed him deeply. Jamie kissed back, answering to every move. Mako pulled him into his lap. Jamie didn't resist. Hippa smiled, kissing him. Jamie kissed back, wrapping his arm around Makos neck. Mako blushed lightly, deepening the kiss. Jamison answered to every move Mako made.
