HYESEOL sighs, putting her phone away. She pulls the thick blanket over her lower body, at least enough to cover her freezing feet that were already covered with her baby blue coloured socks. She then sinks down into the soft mattress, head laying on her pink pillow.

Yes, she was at home.

She took a day off from work. Of course, she provided and gave her boss a medical slip.

"Yah, why did you lie? At least tell him that you're sick, he'll understand." her best friend, Park Jieun says, entering Hyeseol's room in her elegant mid-knee-length dress.

She looks stunning with the wavy black hair cascades on her shoulder and small red ribbon laced around her wrist, matching with her ruby earrings.

Apparently, her outfit is pairing with her older brother, Park Jimin who already left early for the wedding.

"If I tell him the truth, he'll eventually come here later with his wife. And, I'm not in the mood for that." Hyeseol says, a tear slips out and landed on the mattress.

Jieun was for sure sad, as she was the only one who has ever witnessed Hyeseol crying and hiding the pain for that one reason.

That one reason was him. But, maybe it was Hyeseol's fault for hiding her strong feelings from him.

"I told you ten years ago, Seol. If only you tell him what you truly feel then instead of her, his bride will be you." Jieun says, hand patting her shoulder.

Hyeseol lets her tears burst. Her tears being freed, but her heart feels like it is being tightened by a chain.

If only I was brave enough.
