9. Dude It's So Obvious A Blind Man Can See It

Aiden's P.O.V

I walked in my new AP Calc class since I had a schedule change earlier in the year and I'm glad I saw a familiar face, I noticed Lyra was in this class too. Tim was already in his seat, once I got in my seat I started to question him on her friendliness with that O'Connell "What's with Lyra and the new kid?"

"He was a close family friend and we visited him over the summer 6 years ago then he had to leave for a while" he told me

"Why did he have to leave?"

"I don't know his family never told us" he said

"How come Lyra never mentioned him at least once before?"

"He's a touchy subject for her, I'm serious because when he left she wouldn't talk to anyone not even us and she was always in her room It was weird and she couldn't explain it to us as to why"

"Well did you try asking her recently?" I asked "No, we doubt she'll say anything anyways. Why you asking so many questions? Are you jealous?"He said in a teasing voice

"What!? No!, I was just curious" I told him

I would never be jealous of some guy over Lyra

"Riiight, and my mom is a virgin" he said unconvinced "Whatever" I said

Class was more boring than usual the teacher teaches us the same shit everyday and most of us won't need to use it later in life but they insist we learn it. I tore out a small piece of paper and wrote 'hi' on it, I folded it into a paper plane and tossed it towards Lyra, I looked at her and she rolled her eyes before replying tossing it, it said 'hey'

'What do you think our parents talked about?' I wrote

'Maybe they are planning to take us off the team for a couple of days? It might be harsh but anything could happen' she replied

'What if they make strict ground rules about curfew and all that other good parenting/role mode stuff?' I wrote

'I don't think they will do that, it was only one time that we stayed late without our parents knowing. You are going to be coming over today my brother texted me to tell you' she replied

'Fine, but when I get to your house and it's all bad news I'm going to lose my shit' I wrote

'if you ever feel like smashing things there's items in the guest bedroom since it's technically your room whenever you come over' she wrote

'LOL Thanks' I replied. This was the end of the conversation and I hadn't knew how fast time flies until the teacher started talking

"Class pack up your books" The teacher said. I did as was told and I started to talk to Tim when I was done "Instead of going to the cafeteria I'm going to eat out do you wanna come?" I asked "Yeah sure"

"Text the others to meet up at the cafeteria entrance if they want to come, I can't do it cuz I dropped my phone in the toilet"

"Sure and really the toilet, now you were just being stupid" he said

"That really helps the situation buddy" I told him patting him on the back while he was texting the group

"Done. They said they would be there" he said, I walked up to Lyra and Stephanie "Do you ladies wish to join the elite members in an afternoon out?" I asked in a horrible British accent

"If you're paying then fuck yes! Free food!" Stephanie said as she walked to the front of the school. I looked at Lyra and waited for her response

"I'll go but can Logan come too?" She asked and I frowned but still I let it be

"Of course the more the merrier!" I said through gritted teeth
