Tin's Birthday

Melon juice

'Who is she? I have never seen her when I went out with Tin. Does he see someone already? But we just stop seeing each other less than a week, isn't it too fast?' Can is a bit mad indulging too much in his own imagination on their way back to the party in living room.

"Can, you make it! Or, it's Gucci dragging you here? Haha!" Pond makes fun of Can. Can comes over and smacks him on the head, "Now I know why Ae always beats you up. You deserve it."

Tin is about to bring Can away before slow-motion Good talks, "Can..., you...are...here.... What...would...you...like...to...drink...?" Can turns to Good, "what ever tastes good, well, melon juice I think, if you have that here." Hearing that, Tin cuts in, "I think the melon juice is in the fridge." Tin's words successfully draw Can's attention back to him, so he continues, "go to the kitchen with me to get it." His voice shows a feeling that there is no room to say no, so Can nods and follows Tin to the kitchen.

"Hey, hey, don't be so fast. Pete is leaving soon because Ae is waiting for him to see a movie. Let's toast for Tin again before Pete leaves."

Pond hands over a glass of dont-know-what drink to Can. Tin glared at Pond, but Pond ignores him without any effort. 'Like I will be scared, I have been well trained by that villain' Pond thinks.

Can takes the glass and raises up while Pond yells "Everyone~" and everyone, including Can and Fon, toasts and says, "Happy Birthday, Tin!"

They laugh, they drink, and they enjoy the time. Among them, Tin's laughter is the most incredible and makes Fon dumbfounded. She rarely saw him like this, laughing with his whole heart. What makes Fon even more surprised is Tin's gaze towards Can, she thinks that's what they called that boy, 'that's definitely NOT what someone looks at a FRIEND.'

Note: Well, it's a short part again, I am sorry. And, as you might find out, the story is starting to deviate from its inspiration, the MV. Hope you can still tune in till the end, which could be one more chapter only. (or maybe not, I am not so sure about it. 🙄😅)
