Chapter 2

I woke up at 2:30 pm with the sun right on my face and I fell off the couch with a loud thump hitting myself on my elbow.

"Jeez. I sure woke up late. ASHLEY WHERE ARE YOU!" I started calling her around the house looking for her.

"Over here in the kitchen! Btw I made you some pancakes and eggs"She said in a white girl voice which is the reason we are bff 's she always makes me laugh and she would actually kill herself to save me.

"So what you wanna do t 'day cuz byatch I got something do to with you"She said in a sharkeisha voice.

"Well we could go to the mall and get ice cream ...i mean it is like 90 degrees out there ...and that is not normal. This shit should be illegal like nuh-uh. And like can someone tweak the sun for damn sake cause I will and if it's broken GOD CALL ME AN ENGINEER!!! I heard Ashley call my name a few times so I stopped.

"You should breathe... Hahahahah... in between sentences...hahahaha cause one day your gonna ... Hahaha suffocate yourself." She started laughing uncontrollably.

"Yea well you might today Cause your laughing if you haven't noticed so imma just leave you and your situation alone." I said calmly with a raised eyebrow.

Then Ashley 's mom came down and scolded me. Oh I forgot to mention her family hates me because they think I'm the reason she is failing school because of the BASTARD I call my father.

"Ugh Ivory what are doing in my house"She said to me in a cold voice.

"Umm... I-I "I started to stammer I'm not really of a talk person unless it's with Ashley.

"Mom shut the f**k up will ya. I'm so tired of you nagging me all day on dumping Ivory for new friends. She is my friend and you can't change that" She said to her mom in a cold voice.

Ashley hates her mom because of how she treated her when she was little. She abused her for the dumbest ass things. When I first heard this I thought I was the only one with a sad past. Even her dad mentally abused her by telling her she is the worst daughter and if she didn't do her best she will be kicked OUT of the house. The only reason they didn't kick her out because they knew she would go straight to the police.

"Tch you are lucky my daughter is on your side. Anyways I want you out of my house in an hour." She said to me.

"Yes ma'am "I said.

"Ivy you dont" I cut her off" "No its ok I have to go anyways to talk some sh*t into him again.

"You know what I'll go early so that way I can smack the sh*t out him too. Sorry Ash I gotta go. Bye Ms.Wilson " I said politely maybe I can get on her good side.

"Tch just get out of my house little brat"She said to me.

"Mom!!! That's enough maybe I have to knock the sh*t out of you too. Sorry Ivory anyways bye. Text me." She said to me.

Since my house is only a two minute drive I decided to walk. I FINALLY h ot there seemed like hours. Man I need to get into shape. I saw something that surprised me.

"Dad ... What Did You Do" I said shaking.
