Dark Shadows

ch.3

The  quiet :

Drip drop... drip drop... drip drop.

The sound of water falling was all I heard.  After my parents fight was over my mother came and picked my lock on my coming in to get me.
" Rayne, honey its time to go." She said as she  looked at me with her gentle gaze and I happily went with her my body emotionally drained.

With my bags in her car and me safely strapped inside we left as the gentle rain fell from the sky. As I slept I hoped I would experience happiness one day.  As a child I knew nothing and yet i wanted to know everything. The rain was peaceful and all was quiet and right with the world...for now anyway.  With my mother around , she will do what she can to keep me safe from anyone and anything.  Hopefully when i wake up everything will be normal and all just a dream.

What will the future hold for me? I have no idea but with your help maybe i can figure it out. Will you help me defeat the darkness or let it consume you too? Only time will tell.. Enjoy the ride my dears.

( sorry this chapter is short. I just got back into writing after so long. The next chapter will be longer and I hope that whoever reads this will enjoy it. I'm an amatuer writer and there may be mistakes but I'm writing from a dark place and want to feel better by doing this. I hope you enjoy this book. Whoever you are. )
