DAILY JOURNAL

Hello. My name is Darby. Many of you know that. I don't know if I'll be presenting this in front of the class on the last day of school, and I don't know if I have to turn this in and everybody sees it. Don't worry, I don't care. I don't have any secrets, I don't have any crushes and I don't have any interesting stories. This will probably be boring anyway.

Nothing big happened today. I woke up, got ready for school, forgot to eat breakfast and lunch, then I came into this class and now I'm writing since Mrs. Plume told us to.

I have to see my dad this weekend, which means my mom will probably pick me up from school and he'll pick me up from her house.

My parents aren't married; my parents were never married. Since my mom won custody over me, I stay at her house all the time. I don't mind, she's laid back but can be a bitch (I mean she can be mean, I'll erase that when I edit this). Court says I have to stay with my dad one weekend a month. He's a fun person, but not an okay dad. He hasn't paid child support in forever, and walked out on mom and I when I was three.

I don't like writing in notebooks, I'm way more skilled on the iPad.

My hand hurts.

Ugh.

How

Much

Longer?

YES! SHE SAID FIVE MORE MINUTES! Goodbye!

Later

So I just had dinner. It was meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, spinach and garden tomatoes. I'm at my grandpa's house currently. I'm staying with him until Sunday afternoon. He's really rich and super nice, but he's a sociologist so some questions poke at my personality's sensitive insides. He made the dinner, so thank him for that. I'm seeing my dad tomorrow I guess?

Ooh, snapchat from Michael!

Ew, unwanted nudes. (Note to edit that out later)

I forgot my earbuds to listen to music on my phone, so I'm just listening to the radio play "Latch" by Disclosure. Isn't latching the term for a baby suckling a mother's tit?

My life is boring. Ugh.

Did you know I can only eat breakfast from 6-9
