For the rest of the day, we spend it by having a lot of fun. Water game, playing tag, even our Pokemon joins in the fun. Today...

Is the best day ever!

-Getting Sick-

Y/N P.O.V

We are currently walking towards our new destination. Ash and I walk together hand in hand. My Pikachu is on my shoulder. While Mew is sleeping inside my backpack.

"I wonder what we'll be doing in the next town" I said, after a while of walking in silent. "I don't know... I guess we'll just have to wait and see" I heard Ash said. He moves his hand from mine and wrap it around my shoulder. "Yeah, you're right..." I said, placing my head on his shoulder as we walk. I feel him placing a soft kiss on the side of my head.

As I walk, suddenly I feel dizzy. I start to slow down. The others notice it. Ash turns around to look at me "Baby... Are you okay?" He said. I didn't answer him and just place my hand on my head.

He walks in front of me. "Y/N..." He said, as he place a hand on my shoulder and another on my forehead. His eyes widened slightly. "Y/N... You're burning up" he said. As soon as he said that... My eyesight become blurry. I start to sway a little and fall forward. Ash caught me before I fall to the ground. "Woah... Hey... Are you okay??" He said, in panic. "Ash... I don't feel so good..." I said. Then everything turns black.

Ash P.O.V

'What's happening? She was okay a while ago' I thought to myself as I look down at her. "What happens to her?" Clemont asks. "I don't know... She was okay a while ago..." I said. "Let's set a camp... She needs to rest..." Dawn said. I nod my head in agreement. I pick Y/N up, bridal style. "Let's go look for a good spot..." I said.

Soon we found a good spot. Mew have woken up since Y/N passed out. She looks so worried. I sit down under the tree as the others sets up the camp. Y/N is on my lap as her head is on my shoulder. Her whole body feels hot. She's having a high fever.

She visibly starts shivering. She must've felt cold. I hug her closer, in attempt to keep her warm.

Soon they finished setting up the camp. I get up, with Y/N in my arms and walk inside the camp. I lay her down on her sleeping back that she brought with her. I zip it up so she will stay warm. I took out a blanket that I've packed with me since the beginning of my journey and drape it around her for extra warmth.

I took out a bottle of water. I sigh "it's empty..." I say to myself. I get up and walk out of the tent  to where the others is. I walk towards them.

"Hey guys... Anyone have water?" I said. "No..." They said. I sigh "can anyone look after Y/N for me? I'm going to go and search for some water" I say. "Yeah... Sure" Clemont said. "Thanks..." I said, then I walk away.

After a while of walking, I finally made it to the lake. I start to fill up the bottle. "I wish she will be okay..." I thought to myself. I slowly get up, and start walking back to the camp.

"I'm back..." I said. They turns to me and smile. "Welcome back..." Clemont said. "How is she?" I asks, at the same time... Dawn walks out of the tent. "She's still unconscious..." She said. I nod my head as I start to walk towards the tent.

I enter the tent and take a seat next to her. She is still asleep. "You look so pale, Y/N..." I said. I take out the bottle I just refill earlier from my backpack, along with a handkerchief.

I pour water onto the handkerchief and place it on her forehead. I continue doing so for a while with hope it will decrease her fever. But soon I got tired. I lay down next to her, wrapping my arms around her waist... Pull in her close.

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

I woke up and realise I'm inside a tent. I raise my hand and feel something cold. I'm not that dizzy anymore.

Then I notice Ash sleeping next to me. With his arms around me. I smile at the sight. He must have taken care of me until he fell asleep. I am so lucky to have someone as caring as him.

He quints his eyes and slowly opening them up. He stares at me and his eyes lit up. "Y/N! You're okay!!" He exclaim, hugging me tighter. "Too... Tight.." I gasp out. "Oops... Sorry, baby" he said, loosening up. I breathe out slowly. He looks at me worriedly and guiltily, because he practically just squeeze the air out of me. "Are you okay?" He said. I nod my head "yeah... I'm okay..." I said. He let out a sigh of relief and he place a soft kiss on my forehead. "Your fever is going down... That's good..." He murmured as his lips is still lingering on my skin. I close my eyes and smile.

"Thank you... You must have taken a good care of me..." I said. "Of course baby... It's my job" he said, hugging me closer.

"How is she?" I heard a new voice as someone enters the tent. I turn my head towards the direction to see Dawn. She smiles when she realise I've woken up. "You're awake... That's good..." She said. Ash pull away from me and sit up. Dawn walk over to me and kneel down next to me. She place a hand on my forehead. "Your fever is going down..." She said, smiling softly at me. "Yeah... Thanks to Ash..." I said, turning to look at Ash... Who blushes. I giggle and sit up. I hug him "thank you again, Ash.." I said. "Anything for you, baby..." He said.

I'm so glad to have him...
