Hello readers! I would like to take this moment to shamelessly promote my other book Crash. I'd definitely say it is 10x better written and thought out than this book(this book being my first werewolf story). Anyways I hope you enjoy!

"Calm down Brooke!" I laughed into the phone. "Okay so tell me slowly what it was like." I say as I pull into a small gas station.

"Bell it was the best feeling in the world. Our eyes meet and it was like my whole body was overtaken by goose bumps. I saw my whole life with him flash before my eyes." She babbles about finding her mate, Clayton. I turn my car off sitting inside and watch the open sign flicker.

"Sounds amazing." I say simply. She sounds happy.

"It is. Gosh Bell I promise it's more that you'll ever think." She says and I can practically see the smile on her face. I on the other hand not so much.

Don't get me wrong I was happy for her but she is only 20, a year older than me and had already found her mate. I didn't like the idea of basically letting go of my freedom from everything I've always known. Yea I would like to find my mate one day just not today. I'm young and want to stay young for a little while longer.

"I'll take your word on it." I tell her and she laughs. "I gotta go. I'll talk to you later Brooke. Bye, love you." I say hanging up before she can say it back or start babbling about something I really don't need to hear.

I love my sister and all but she could talk off your ears if you'd let her. I grab my wallet and my cars keys and I get out of my car. I open the glass door and a soft bell rings signaling my entrance. A relativly old man is placed behind the counter. He looks up and does a double take. Kind of freaky.

I grab a pack of gummy bears and a drink before heading towards the cash register.

"Will this be all?" The old man ask. Giving me a friendly smile. I take the time when I smile to breath in through my nose and catch his scent. Old and clean. One Good thing about being a wolf is Catching peoples scent. Most people smell the way they are, if that makes sense. I knew this man wasn't trouble because of his scent and knowing that I smiled a true smile.

"Yes that will be all." I answer.

"You're a new face," he says as he scans my items,"we don't get many new faces here." He says.

"Small town?" I say suddenly interested. I was just gonna pass through but I absolutely love small towns.

"Very." he laughed. "You staying or just passing through?" He ask as he puts my stuff in a bag.

"I think I might stay." I say. He tells me my total and I pay him.

"There's a nice motel down the street a mile or so. Connected to it is a great breakfast place, serves the best pancakes." he tells me.

"Got any place to get a drink here?" I ask.

"Yes, The Swinging Donkey. Downtown." he tells me handing me my bag of stuff.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Marcus." he says smiling.

"Bell," I tell him my name. "Thank you so much Marcus. I really appreciate it."

"No problem." He smiles. I turn and walk out of the gas station, getting into my car and driving away.

I drive downtown passing The Swinging Donkey and see some girls walking into the bar.

I drive a mile or so like Marcus told me and found a sign that said Comfort Inn next to a motel. I pulled in getting out of my car. I went to the front desk and asked the lady for a room.

After unloading my stuff and dragging it into the room I looked at the clock. It's 6.

I grabbed my suitcase putting on jean shorts and a cute top. I went into the bathroom running a brush through my hair not really needing to put makeup on.

Werewolfs were naturally better looking than regular people. It was a gift from the moon goddess as since we were all born from her.

I'm not going to lie and say that I'm the most beautiful girl in the world. I'm also not going to say I am bland and boring and ugly because I know I'm not. I learned a long time ago to know what I'm worth and how truly beautiful I actually am. When I learned that I became more confident and outgoing knowing that no matter what anybody said about me I was beautiful. I that's just the way I think about it.

I went and sprayed some perfume on before looking at myself in the mirror. My brown hair had a slight wave to it from it not being straightend but only brushed through. My cheeks were slightly pink with the excitement and readyness for a good time, which I always seemed to find. I grabbed my purse and walked out the door heading for The Swinging Donkey.
