The Demon and its Prey(On Hold)

New Neighbor?

No sooner do I wake up I hear a truck next door. I knew the old neighbors had moved out a few months ago and new neighbors already? That was fast. My curiosity gets the best of me and I peer outside. White moving truck which was expected, and a family of three that being the mother the father and the son from what I see. The son appeared to be my age and pretty good looking himself. Nice body, nice hair, his eyes I have yet to see but I can not wait to see...get ahold of yourself Drex and stop gawking over the guy moving in next door like a teenage girl. He probably would not like you anyways let alone actually have feelings for you, yes I am smart and well kept but he is still too good for me.

I came up with a plan, once they get situated I can go over and welcome them, introduce myself, that I will be next door if they would ever need anything, blah blah blah you get the picture. Just all I have to do is wait.

After waiting what seemed like an eternity they seem to be situated and I finally have the balls to go over. Walking outside I cross the lawns and knock on the front door of their house.

"Hello, you must be my neighbor, my name is Phillip but you can call me Phil." Wow he totally just stole my thunder and my plan.

"Yes I am, The name is Drex, I wanted to say welcome to the neighborhood and I am glad you chose this one out of all of them." Real cool Drex, totally not coming off strong. He chuckles practically staring into my soul. His piercing green eyes melt the inside of me, I have not felt anything like this before, was I really this weak?

"Oh? Well I am glad I got such welcoming neighbor who is willing to actually greet me to the neighborhood. You see, last time me and my family moved nobody had welcomed us not even one person." Well that is so not right, you should welcome your neighbors to the neighborhood.

"Well not on my watch, consider yourself never having to deal with that again. Where did you move from if you do not mind me asking?"

"Georgia, way different than here obviously."

"You are telling me, that is a big difference. What school will you be going to?"

"Pine View High as a senior."

"No way, I am a senior as well at Pine View. Perhaps I can show you around for the first few days."

"Sounds lovely."

"It is a plan than."

"Indeed it is Drex." Oh the way he says my name makes shivers go down my spine. I just want to do nothing but talk to him as if nothing else matters.

"Well I should probably get going now, do not want to be too much of a burden I know you still are getting situated and used to the new environment and all so I will let you be, again I will be next door. Just knock if you need anything."

"Alright. Drex?"

"Yes?"

"Do not be to hard on yourself. You are no burden and never will be anywhere near that, let loose and be yourself. I know you are probably going through a lot but trust me on this one, take some time to be you and not let others bother you while your doing it. Just you and yourself." With that he said goodbye and shut the door after he made sure I was inside my house. I think it went alright for the first time actually seeing him, to many more in the future but hopefully the near future.

That's part two and I think it's going pretty well so far. The chapters will get longer as the story continues, make sure to add some suggestions to the plot or things to tweak. I'm very open to anything just let me know.🌹
