Planning The Job Resume.

Is it really necessary to lie in a resume? I like to write that it was the Monetary Authority that forces the Board to dissolve my sales team in banking. The bank was making money, the economy was recovering. Unfortunately I was in a foreign bank and taking market share from the local bank. That's the political viewpoint.

Actually that's a lie, I don't have marketing strategy to move the market. I was a struggling insurance peddler for years never make it to MDRT. And in banking, my team only target the public housing sectors. Before I join the department it could hardly hit the minimum treshold.

Do I need to explain that its the government, media and corporate bodies causing the heart attack on the banking system. They didn't buy the bank or the products, they were doing it out of curiousity to meet the writer who sold a thesis to the government. Nobody is supposed to know this, because the bank sold their 'marketing strategy' and it fail miserably leading to sub prime crisis.

Maybe I should write that my ideas are really great, it works. I started with BAT (British Tobacco contest) in 1992. That's how I first got noticed. Subsequently in the Changi Airport contest in 1998. The local media was awaken to me. After the financial turmoil in 2006 supposedly for my marketing strategy, I become a media darling. Those years after 2009 to 2012 stretched my writing on technology as I was involved in media digitalization.

Then I think I was afraid after getting attacked on media, social media, even friends and family. The years after 2013 felt like a frankenstein, being tested to force out golden script egg. Blame it on the rise of smart phones and social media, I was feeding ideas everyday. Up till I decide to close all the account - peace of mind at last.

And this resume seems out of point to get a job. The point I like to emphasize is I'm an ordinary person with occassion burst of extraodinary, please don't expect too much.
