Episode 22 : Clash of Warriors

Gautam is seen walking around the school fast when he bumps into 2 of the securities

Sec - Sir aap? Yahan?

G - Main apney room jaa raha tha.

Sec - No sir. Strict orders mila hai. Function ke waqt, staff aur student dono bahar allowed nahi hain. So aap please humhari saath aa'eye.

G - Fine.

Gautam along with the securities walk to the auditorium.

In the auditorium, Urmila ma'am is seen standing on the stage,

UMaam - I welcome you all to the final round of the fresher's competition, The talent round 2016. Today our finalist are going to show case their talent. As always, our judge will be our principal Anwesha Rajput who will be judging this competition through Video call. May the best one win.

Whatever was happening was transmitted lively to Anwesha ma'am who was to judge the event all the way from London. Also, Anwesha ma'am was telecasted on the screens on the side of the stage.

AMaam - Good afternoon students.

All - Good afternoon ma'am.

AMaam - Its great to see you after the vacations. I want to apologise for not being in person. But I'm excited to judge this round. Let the best student win.

As the students clap, Rishab sir walks on stage and,

RSir - Our first performance is a group performance by "Unified"

The students clap waiting for the first performance,

A - Who the hell is unified?

K - No idea. Shayad koi band ho ga.

<music starts - Ek hain hum (High school musical)>

                                      The performance starts with a boy who starts playing the drums. Then a girl enters playing the guitar

M : Mil gaya....

                                    From in midst of the audience, Alex got up and sang the first 2 line while the other male contestant sang the next line. From either sides of the stage, Eneya and the other contestant come in singing and dancing. The two boys get on stage and along with the 2 other girla performance. The audience seemed surprised as all the 6 of them were performing together.

All juniors : Milke bolo....

                                  As this part came, all the juniors down stage started singing the verses while Onstage there was fog and flickering disco lights. The seniors look around. Some in surprise while others in excitement.

M : Hum ko ....

                                      As the juniors downstage stopped singing, The 6 participants continued amusing the audience as they enjoyed their performance and made others enjoy the same.

All Juniors - Milke bolo ....

                                This time, the juniors down stage got up and started dancing along with the participants. This wasn't a normal cheering dance but pre-planned, perfectly arranged and choreographed dance. The juniors had arranged themselves in the auditorium in the corner seats and the last seats while the seniors and the teachers sat in the middle seats. Vidurshi and Angela enjoyed sitting and dancing. Gautam was also very impressed as he had expected this to be a competition.

As they completed the performance, they got a standing ovation. Sid and Rohan looked at each other. They decided to let go their ego and stood up to give a great hand of applause.

Ro - They do deserve this.

S - Absolutely.

<Warrior High BGM>

                                The participants hold each others hands and take a bow. They turn towards the desktop on which Anwesha ma'am was on Video call.

AMaam - Must say. Maine yeh kabhi expect nahi kiya. Poori batch ek saath perform karey all this in just 2-3 days time. I must say, I'm very impressed. On a funny note, There's always been a cycle. Ek batch ki kami doosri batch poori karti hai. Tumhare seniors jitna jhagadtey the tum log utne hi saath ho. United.

The juniors howl with excitement while the seniors frowned with embarrassment.

U - Arey yaar! Yeh daadi humhari image ko itna damage kyun kar rahi hai.

AMaam - No offense seniors. But, Iss round ko main kaise choose karo'on. Everybody is a winner. Itna unique aur fantastic performance mainey kabhi nahi dekha. You guys tell me, how do i just you?

E - Maam, as you told, we're all winners. We don't want the title of Mr and Mrs Fresher. Humhe chahiye the title of "The best batch of Warrior High.

AMaam - Yeh kuch zyaada nahi maang rahe ho?

All juniors are in support while the seniors seemed to oppose the idea.

AMaam - But you guys did give a great performance. So i award you with the title of "The Best performance" that warrior high has ever seen. And a feast to honour your unity. This performance of juniors batch of 2016 will always be remembered.

As the juniors cheer with excitement hugging and giving hi-fi to each other,

L (in a funny tone) - Ho gaya humhara balathkaar.

Ni (in a funny tone) - Kar diya humhara muh kaala.

The seniors clapped their hands half heartedly. Alex and Eneya came down stage and walked towards Sid and Rohan,

Junior1 (M) - Isse kehtey hain "Performance".

Junior2 (F) - How does it feel to be second best?

K - Like really?

E - Haan. Like really.

X (mocking) - Agar main theek se sunna toh Anwesha maam ne bohat hi directly bola ke HUM tum log se better hain.

S (with attitude) - You know what i think? Tumhe hawa mein udna nahi chahiye. We're still on a equal score. Night's call mein hum aur Talent round mein tum. Aur saal khatam honey ke liye bohat din baaqi hai.

E (stylish) - I guess we should get ready for Round 3. Elections.

X - I'm sure main aur Eneya tum paanch'on se behter head boy aur head girl banengey.

T (with attitude) - Best of Luck.

E - Humhe tum logon jaisey Luck ki zaroorat nahi hai.

Both the groups stand in opposite sides and stare at each other when,

RSir - Attention students.

The students turn towards the stage where Urmila ma'am stood along with Rishab Sir.

UMaam - As usual, Warrior High ka tradition hai ki the winners will do a victory performance. But aaj ki winners poori batch hai. So as most of you've requested, you'll be having an open dance floor jo 2 minute mein ready ho jaa'ega. So students, Enjoy yourselves.

Saying so, Urmila ma'am gets off the stage and walks out of the auditorium followed by most of the teachers while Aditya sir and Gayathri ma'am were left in charge. With the teachers and the CCTV incharge back in their places, Gautam had no other option but to go back to his room. As he walked back,

PoV "Shit yaar Gautam. Tumhe isse acha chance phir se nahi milega. Ab CCTV surveillance ke bina kaise school ka chaanwien karega?"
