I was siting by the entrance of the cave when snake came up to me "so your on time? hmm been awhile since that has happened" I glared at her "your one to talk you where late for your first hunt" I scoffed.She was about to reply when big paw came he stopped a few feet away and stared "um is every thing ok?" he asked "yes" snake growled still glaring at me "now where is every body? we need to leave".Just then shadow and silver walked up "finally lets go" said snake.
We started sniffing the air and ground "rabbit" said silver "and goats"said shadow "silver and big paw go for the rabbit shadow and licorice come with me" said snake. We ran toured the smell and when it got stronger we slowed down and crouched snake went strait and shadow and I circled around. I could see the goats they're were four if we each took one then we could bring home three but we haft do it as a team which means we can only get one or two at most.
I look out its my tern to scare the goats well I guess every body's ready so I crouch down and get closer the wind is blowing toured me so the goats cant smell me.I get closer then I run at them. they run toured snake I try to turn them toured shadow but they wont move great this is just great.
You heard the your prey toured the other herders and then you attack its the honer of the lead hunter to come in and help us take down the other ones. But if you make it so the lead hunter has to come out first you strip them of that dignity and challenge there authority and then you or next wolf to attack can take there spot as lead hunter if the alpha allows it.
They wont turn I cant get them to turn I look up and see shadow running toured me as fast as he can hes almost hear if I could just get them to turn then we would be ok. Hes hear he jumps on one goats and bites down I go under for the neck. I hear snake attacking another goat shadow leaves to help her but then I hear it a sound you never want to hear during a hunt I hear some one yelp.
I finish of the goat and turn to see who's hurt its shadow I run up to him "are you ok?" I ask "ya I just got kicked that's all". A goats kick is powerful if it kicks you in the right spot (like the head or the back then it can kill you and if its just on the side well it can brake bones). "are you shur" asks snake "ya it just nicked my hip" "can you walk?" "I think so".He slowly got up and limped over "can you make it back to the cave?"asked snake "ill try".Snake tuned to me "and you what where you trying to do? I'm the lead hunter for a reason if you have a problem with that then take it up with me in stead of getting your pack hurt" she snarled.
Snake and I each grabbed a goat and started dragging it back to meet the others while shadow limped behind we could see the others now they started trotting toured us with there rabbits."What happened?" asked big paw when he got closer "he got kicked in the hip by a goat" said snake she looked at me when she said that I looked down.She looked back at silver and big paw "you look worried whats wrong?" "well we smelled another wolf when we were hunting and he wasn't from are pack" said silver "did you reconies the sent from another pack?" asked snake "No.Well we need to get back to reporet to alpha come on".
