If there was ever a word to describe Texas, it would be dusty. My house was a nice little cottage in the middle of the forested area. Mick had bought me. About 500 acres of forest with it. Paid in cold hard cash. To say he had been rich was an understatement. Everything had already been unpacked and set out. The fridge fully stocked. I set out to explore the house.

          *******
The house had one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, dining room. It contained a cozy living room with a fireplace. A small laundry room was off the the entry room.
The entire house was small. About 4,500 square feet. I liked it though. It was decorated  with black granite, wooden cabinets. Blue dishes were in the cabinets. Mugs, plates, bowls they were blue.
My bedroom was equiped with a large bathroom. A giant tub and shower. A marble sink stood gracefully in front if the mirror.

The bedroom was huge. A large four poster bed stood in the middle of the room. A midnight blue cover was draped over its large bed.

I got tired of looking around and went for a drive. I drove all around the county side. It really was pretty. Not the California pretty, but more of a raw beauty.

The drive home in the dark was amazing. Stars littered the sky. I had turned off all the lights before I left. Parking the car in the driveway I hopped out and walked to be door. If I hadn't have looked down I would not have seen the small envelope sitting there. I grabbed it and walked inside. It was probably from Mick.
I flopped on the couch and opened the letter with a flick of my fingers. It contained a thick piece of paper. I pulled it out gently and read.

Dear Justice,

I have to ask a favor. I know you have retired from the assassin-for-hire job, but I was hoping you would help me with one last project. Call me at my number. Ta Ta darling.
Love, You know who

I pulled my phone out and dialed his number. My heart was beating. I usually had jobs every 2 days. It had been weeks without the blood of a man on my fingers. It rang 3 times then it picked up.
"Hello darling." A deep melodic voice caresses my ear. "Hallo." I told him.
"I have a young man, he is a very good business man. He has no family that he speaks to ever. I need him dead." He told me in an urgent voice.
"Why?" I asked calmly. "He has taken business from me. I need him dead." He growled out. "It takes two to tango. I am going to need more information than that. You know what I want." I laughed.
" he works for the governors security. He has been on to me for years. He is coming too close. Too damn close." He yelled. I kept silent. " 2 million says he is dead." He talked. "Deal." I hung up.
Smiling I sat back and watched the ceiling twirl for me. The wind knocked beaches against the windows. It was time. I smiled and walked out the door to the porch. Smiling I sat there and sharpened my knives.

Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I finished one!!! The biggest thing I have done today. It would mean so much if you would tell me what you think!! The good the bad. All of it!!!!!
