Online Dating ~ Choni

You've Matched!

Toni finished her shift at the Wyrm, so she sat on a stool, broomstick still in hand, and began to try and find a match on an online dating app.

Her best friend, Fangs Fogarty, had introduced her to the app after he met Kevin Keller, his new boyfriend, on it.

Toni swiped left.

Then left again.

And again.

Then Toni saw something that caught her eye. Not something, someone. Toni was bisexual, so she put on the 'both genders' options.

She glanced up from her phone to see her manager, FP, walking towards her. She quickly swiped right before she locked her phone and slid it into her pocket. Toni then stood up off of her stool and twirled her broomstick around in her hand. "Hey FP." She nodded to the middle-aged man.
"Topaz, your shift begins in five." The man warned the young woman as he walked past. "Got it." She whispered to no one in particular.

Toni then started her shift, mixing, making and shaking alcoholic beverages for more middle-aged men that would hit on her.

"Hey, Princess," A man smirked as he sat on the barstool on the other side of the bar. "What would you like to order?" Toni put on her fake smile and tilted her head at the man. "One Gin and Tonic and a one night stand with the lady opposite me." He smirked as he leant forward: Toni could smell the alcohol on his breath. "One Gin and Tonic coming up." Toni muttered as she turned around, only for the man to grip onto her arm tightly and pull her back to face him. "Where's my second order?" He chuckled in her face, showing his crooked and yellow teeth. Without warning, Toni's hand flew over the man's face, knocking him off of his stool.

"Topaz!" FP boomed over the thunderous music blasting from the several speakers. Toni just looked down as her manager approached her. "Another one?" FP sighed as he put his hands on his hips.

FP knew all about the customers hitting on his employee and it was starting to enrage him, but he couldn't help the intoxicated men from hitting on a young, attractive woman.

"SweetPea!" FP called to one of the two bodyguards. SweetPea came striding over. "Another one, Toni?" Pea sighed as he looked at the man on the floor. "Yeah." She whispered to her other best friend.
"I've got it, FP. You go do your job." Pea murmured as he picked the man up by his collars and dragged him out of the bar. "Topaz, you can leave early." FP nodded to his only female worker.

Toni nodded, knowing that it was an apology for what happened, but she was honestly used to it by know.

She hung up her apron and retired her broomstick for the day before she waved goodbye to Pea and Fangs, the bodyguards, and left her place of work.

The small brunette then made her way to her motorbike, flicking the keys around her knuckles as she did so. She mounted the jet black vehicle before she inserted the keys and zoomed out of the Wyrm and deeper into the Southside.

When she reached her trailer, she retreated from her bike and made her way inside, using the other key on her key chain to unlock her trailer door.

After stepping into the tiny, yet cozy, living space, she locked the door before she tossed her keys onto her table and burst into her bedroom.

She removed her Serpent jacket before she abandoned it on her bedroom floor and collapsed into her singular bed, retrieving her phone from her pocket.

Much to Toni's surprise, she had a notification.

'You've matched!'

Toni's eyebrow quirked in confusion as she unlocked her phone and opened the app.
