Third Person POV:
The Great Cat pressed his nose to his wife's head. "Elisabeth, you must take Neila somewhere safe. The Witch's rule has started and I don't want her anywhere near this place. I couldn't bear either of you getting hurt, or worse, killed."
Elisabeth shook her head. "I'm not leaving you, my king."
"You must. For your protection, and for our daughter's. Jadis does not yet know about her. But when she finds out, she will show no mercy on the child."
Deep down, Elisabeth knew her husband was right, but she didn't want to leave the land that felt like home. The land she loved. After a second's thought, she nodded. "Okay. I'll take Neila somewhere safe. I've always loved Ireland."
Aslan let out a small laugh. "Take her there, my dear. I will think of you always. Neila, I will see you sooner than you know. I love you both, very much."
He had since shifted to his human form, and his wife kissed him. "I love you too. Neila will stay safe. What should I tell her when she asks about her father?"
"Tell her that he is off on a diplomatic mission. Let her believe what she will. She will learn about me when she is ready."
With one last desperate kiss, the two broke apart and Elisabeth walked through the wardrobe.
She looked to her father, Professor Kirke. "This is Neila. Forgive me for my swiftness, but I cannot stay in England. I am off to Ireland. I have to protect her. Jadis, the White Witch, does not know of Neila yet, and I cannot risk her finding out. "
The Professor nodded. "I understand, my dear. A mother does what she must for her child. Longford is nice. I've always wanted to visit."
Elisabeth laughed. "Longford it is. When I settle in, I will write you my address."
"What will you tell others of your husband? What will you tell your daughter?"
"I will tell that he is on a diplomatic mission. They will believe what they will."
