Lyrics are words begging to be let outOur minds are full of these whispering doubts
Like those nights when I lay down, hoping for rest
but all I am met with is 3 hours at best
I beg for forgiveness, I beg for freedom,
from this horrible spiral of a hellish kingdom
That kingdom is known as a human's brain
the thing that is wonderful, and is in no way tame
It's beautiful but in a terrible way
sometimes we don't wish to live another day
We need to live, but only survive
It helps and restricts, wanting to thrive
So I sit in this place, this dark empty pit
and I stare at that light that has somehow managed to stay lit.
