CHAPTER EIGHT

I'm sorry this update took so long. I really lost my connection to the characters but hopefully, I can get this moving again.

I'm gonna die here if I stay one more minute. That's may be me exaggerating but I don't wanna stick around and find out, the look in Ace eyes is murderous, his mismatch eyes flashing red.

So I ran, I ran as fast as I can with one goal in mind. Out of this cured place, far far away from Ace. My heart ache at that, at the thought of leaving Ace but I still can't stand the constant fear hanging around me, the confusion in everything around me.

I don't know how but I find myself outside, in the woods. I welcome the hash, cold, bitter, wind against my body. I felt something I haven't felt in awhile. Relief.

This sudden rush of power surge through me, power so intense I can't explain. I gasp loudly. I feel so so invincible, like there's nothing on earth that can touch or harm me.

I welcomed the feeling, I'll freak out later but first I have to get out of here. Whatever here is.

I felt a chill, the hairs on my body rising. Someone is watching me. And I don't even know how I know that.

"Where do you think you're going too human? You are trespassing!"

A voice said followed by a sneer. I looked around me, turning in circles, trying to find who said that; but there's nothing. Just the endless trees and dead leaves.

"I asked you a question human! What are you doing here?!

" I-i just want to g-go home, I'm not- I mean, I don't mean to trespass."

The feeling of invincibility vanished as soon as it came, leaving me all open and defenseless. A fog suddenly covered everywhere, leaving me turning in circles.

A man emerge from the fog. A very huge and tall man, not as tall as Ace but definitely huge, with long black hair and piercing blue eyes burning deep into my skull. I shudder but not from fear. I don't know what the feeling is but I don't like it.

This man looks dangerous. Please don't tell me I ran from frying pan and jumped into fire.

Two more men emerge from the fog before it cleared leaving me stunned and rooted in one place. I tried to move back, maybe even take a step back but my legs won't even move. The guy with the blue eyes kept moving towards me.

He stopped in front of me, his fingers brush my chin, causing me to flinch. What's with this people and cold hands?

"mmm he's a cute one, I might just keep him for a midnight snack."

Wait! What? I began panicking, I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. He watched me with curious eyes that isn't my problem. I need to breathe.

"Blake try and relax. He can't harm you, that's right, breathe with me. In and out. Let's go again. In and out."

"Son of a bitch! He's communicating with Ace!" He growled and back handed me. I fell to the ground with a soft thud, holding my palm to my stinging cheek.

What the hell? I'm not communicating with no one. I looked over at the fuming man, now coming towards me with long stride. It took me a second to realize, I've stopped panicking and the voice guiding me was indeed Ace.

A little smile made it's way to my lips. He's gonna come for me and you all are goin-

"Aaarrrrr!!! I scream out when a fist collides with my face.

" I don't think this is a fair fight. I mean if you want to fight someone then you should pick on your own size, don't you think?" A bored voice asked.

I looked over and standing there is Ace, looking as breathe taking as ever. Even the way he stands radiate power, giving that 'don't try and fuck with me or you will loose your balls' vibe.

I breathed a sigh of relief. Never have I been happy to see anyone like this before.

The three of them immediately bowed down, making me confused. Just who is this guy?

"Lord Ace, he is trespassing and just a human." He said human with venom in his tone.

"He is my human and you laid hands on him. For that you'll be punished."

"Y-your human? I don't understand lord Ace."

Ace came close to me and picked me up. His cold fingers brush the side of my face that was hit. I wince in pain but didn't pull back. I leaned towards his touch. The throbbing pain slowly turned into a tingle. Ace held my gaze, his eyes softening a bit. I held my breath cause I'm being overwhelmed by so many emotions.

I watch with wide eyes as he slowly leaned in and kissed my forehead before adjusting me to his chest. I leaned and kept my head on his chest, trying to listen for a heartbeat but there is none.

"You don't need to understand." Ace voice pulling me out of my trance. He looks at me again before turning to the three men in front of him.

" All you need to know is, he is my human."
