The mansion was surrounded by police cars and few ambulance. The loud sirens accompanied by whispers from the neighbors surrounding the mansion. Mr.Choi, his co-wife and Jieun's dead body was covered and carried into the ambulance.
Few minutes later Hyejung was escorted by few police woman. The girl is sobbing hard whilst hugging a police woman.
Few moments ago.
Hyejung freeze on her spot when she heard sounds of sirens outside her house. She dropped the gun and put it into her father's hand. She sit on her knees and start fake a cry. Right when the police burst into the mansion, she cry harder.
"Young lady, what happened? We got a report saying that there's shooting sound from inside this mansion." A police officer ask her softly. His hand stroke her hair gently, not wanting to terrify her. Hyejung hiccups and point at her father's dead body with shaky hands. "D-daddy... He killed m-mommy and ji-jieun... He said t-they are using hi-his money for a-another man... And th-then he.. he..." She cries louder, hands gripping the police officer's uniform tightly.
The police officer hug her tightly and rub her back soothingly. "It's okay... don't be afraid.. everything will be fine... Now, I need you to calm down and explain one more time.. okay?" He say, hands wiping her tears away. Hyejung nods and take a deep breath.
After few minutes, she calmed down and sit on the sofa with a police woman. "So young lady, can you explain to me about what happened here..?" She asked softly. Her right hand is holding a notebook and a pen, ready to take note about what happened. Hyejung took a glance at her stepmother's dead body and nods softly.
The police woman scoot closer, next to Hyejung and get her pen. Ready to note down everything Hyejung told her.
"I just got back home around an hour ago... When I step inside, mommy is already dead and daddy is stabbing Jieun furiously.. I asked him why did he do that and he said that mommy and Jieun is using his money for another man... He said mommy lied to him... And then he suddenly ask me to shot him in the head. He said that he wanted to die badly because everything is so messed up... I said no and then.." she stopped and catch her breath. She sobs and wipe her tears harshly. The police woman tap her back softly, in order to calm her down.
"Then... He point the gun on his head and shot himself." Hyejung said and break into tears again. The police woman nods and give Hyejung a hug. "It's fine little girl... We will find your family member and take care of you for time being."
Right after the police woman said that, Hyejung break the hug and shook her had furiously. "No no.. I don't want to stay with them .. they hate me .. please just let me stay in an orphanage homes or something .. please. " She pleads and the police woman sighed. "Alright then."
End of flashback
Hyejung get out of the police car and look at the big building infront of her.
Happiness Orphanage Homes
She chuckles and walk into the building. "I couldn't believe that I'll really end up being here." She said under her breath. "Did you say something?" Officer Han, the police officer asked.
"Uh? No... I just a little dizzy.." she said and flash a small smile towards Officer Han. They went into an office greeted by a woman around her 40s. "Oh, Officer Han... What's bring you here?" The woman ask. Officer Han bow a little and smile, "Hello Mrs Jung. It's nice meeting you again. I'm here to deliver a new kid. She's Choi Hyejung, 18 years old. She's Mr Choi Yeunsoul daughter. You know him right?"
The woman nod and hug Hyejung softly. "Ah... I heard about your family incident and I'm so sorry for your awful lost... Don't worry little girl, you'll be fine here. Okay?" She smiles and stroke Hyejung's head softly. Hyejung nods and look straight into Mrs Jung's eyes. "Yes, Ma'am."
"Okay. I'll take over your registration, you can follow Jisoo unnie. She will show you your room." Mrs Jung then sit on her chair and have a talk with Officer Han. "Hyejung...? Let's go.." Jisoo took Hyejung's luggage and walk ahead with Hyejung following behind.
"I'm sure you'll be fine here... But, I want to give you some advice... If some boys with name Namjoon, Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook trying to talk to you.... Just ignore them... Avoid them as hard as you can.. okay?" Jisoo pat Hyejung's shoulder.
"More like...warning.." Hyejung mumbles. Jisoo laugh and nods, "Yeah... something like that because they're kind of meanie... They treat newbies badly... They once broke a boy's hand..." Jisoo said and sigh.
Hyejung nods and look down. A sly smirk spread across her lips. Sounds interesting.
