It's been three days since she were transferred into the orphanage home. As usual right after dinner, Hyejung went to the rooftop. Earlier, Jungwoo told her that there's a unused bed. She laid on the bed and look at the dark sky, star scattered across the sky making the dark sky look magnificently amazing. She let out a heavy sighs and close her eyes.
"I just need to wait for Lawyer Hwang to come and take me away. All of Dad's companies and properties will be mine since I'm the only heir." She mumbles to herself. Thinking of the future making Hyejung laugh. Her future is as bright as diamonds. She can see how luxury her life is.
As time passed by, she could feel sleepiness hit her. The mono eyelids slowly getting closed. She's just about to fall asleep but got shocked by a loud thud from the door. Hyejung get up from the bed and look at the broken door with a sharp glare. There's a girl standing with an awkward smile, her short blonde hair were messed. "What are you." Hyejung ask in a cold tone, sending shivers down to the girl's spine.
"U-uh... Mrs Jung wants to meet you!" She said in fast pace and run away right after she finish her words. Hyejung shrugged and get off the bed, went to the main Office. On the way to the office, Hyejung thought to herself. "Am I that scary?" She really doesn't get the reason why everyone is scared of her although when she's smiling. That's why she doesn't have friends even in school.
She knock softly on the door, "Mrs Jung..?" She whispered as she gets in the office. There is Mrs Jung and a guy in a clean suits. Ad the guy look back, her smile spread on her pink-ish lips. It's Lawyer Hwang! She ran into his arms and hug him tightly. She have been waiting for this moment since the day her father died. "Hey there little girl, calm down~" Mr Hwang laugh as he hug Hyejung softly. "I'll leave you two for a moment." Mrs Jung smiled and went out of her office.
"Hwang-nim! What's bring you here?" Hyejung ask, acting all innocent and clueless. She needs to keep her image clean. Mr Hwang took her to the sofa and bring out a document from his black briefcase. "So as we been knew you are the only heir of Mr Choi right?" He started. She nods and took the document, reading it carefully. "But shockingly, we found out that Mr Choi have another heir aside from you." He continued, making she gasped. "W-who is it..?" She asked softly. Hyejung grip the papers tightly, trying to hold her anger back. Does this mean her father have another wife aside her step mother?
"It's Mrs Han Sera. She used to be Mr Choi's secretary for three years but suddenly retire and currently staying in Daegu. I heard that she's taking care of her sick mother and working as convenience store's cashier nearby her house." Mr Hwang explained. Hyejung stay in her position, still processing those words. "W-why is she the o-other heir? What's their re..lationship?" Hyejung asked, anger starting to overcome her mind.
"We still couldn't figure out why she's the other heir but I will go and meet her next Monday to invite her to the division of property on Wednesday."
Hyejung nods and keep the crumbled document in her sweater pocket. "Alright then." She stood up and hug Mr Hwang for the last time. "Then I'll be going. Have a nice sleep Ms Choi. I'll comeback to bring you to the division of property soon." Mr Hwang bowed and get out of the office, leaving Hyejung all by herself.
She ran to her room and lock the door from inside. Not wanting anyone disturbing her. "Han Sera..." She mumbles to herself. She need to plan something fast so that nobody can disturb her properties. The properties is all her's.
