Requirements

Being part of the team isn't only about working and having a quality (Wattpad) profile, it's about the attitude, the attention, the dedication. That's why we need users who can handle the heat in the kitchen.

HONESTY
Okay, this may sound a bit over the top, but nobody's going to question you if you emptied the cookie jar. We just need you to be truthful to us, like tell us when you're going to be absent, when you can't handle a certain task, when you're not satisfied about your position, probably you're getting bored, even when a team member is bugging you, be honest with us and tell us all about it.

We won't judge you. We don't and never will. Also, we don't like to put pressure on you as we know you're only volunteering and you have a life outside this platform, so we can't force anything on you. If you feel you need a break, tell us, we'll save a room for you—and we actually save a room, so don't be bothered we'll kick you out.

If you're slacking off, causing the community to slow down its pace, and we aren't aware of what's going on, we'll have no other option but to kick you out . . . unaware.

EXPERIENCE
We don't ask for much. Not two years on Wattpad. Not a million reads on your work. Not a hundred thousand followers. Just know your way on Wattpad, especially what you're applying for, and there's no problem.

For example, if you are applying to be a graphic designer and your covers aren't as good as you say or they are painful to the eyes, there's a fat chance your application might get ignored.

COMMUNICATION
Everyone needs to communicate with each other or else there'd be no way we can get the work done. After getting accepted into this community, we'll send you procedures on how we communicate.

SELF-CONTROL
If you can't stand the heat, get the #$#$ out of the kitchen. Not everyone can please you and there are some that will definitely wake up just to ruin your day. It can be tempting to give them a piece of your mind, but we don't want that in the community. If a user, maybe even a team member, tries to make your day less of what it is meant to be, report to this account (if it is a team member) or mute and report to Wattpad, they know best.

We'll make your role here worthy, enjoyable, and you'll definitely feel like you're insured. We discourage bickering, hate comments. We want the team members to have the best attitude towards everyone.

CREATIVITY
We don't bite, neither do we yell at anyone. We need you to come with something creative that can move the community forward. There's always a round table in here and everyone has the right to use the microphone. If it's about contests or bookclubs, maybe we should change our theme or graphic covers, just say it, you'll thank yourself after you do. As we share our ideas, so should you. You are in this community, you aren't a stranger, spank us if you want, only if we'll get better when you do.

BE ABLE TO WORK WITH OTHERS
Teamwork. You may get to be paired with someone or you may be dropped into a group of ten; either way, you need to be able to work with people, irrespective of what is or has been going on within or outside Wattpad.

If you feel you can't work with someone, tell us why and we'll see what we can do about it.
