~ Very big timeskip to a bunch of years later ~

You stood on the deck of the ship leaning over the barrier looking out over the vast blue ocean, a sight you would never get tired of. The ocean always pulled you towards it, where your heart belonged but not so much any more. Your heart now belonged to one who rode the ocean and her waves. You let your thoughts drift to the day he proposed to you.

Jack had been worrying about it all day he was shaking in his boots, never in his life had he been so nervous but he was asking a very serious question. He was going to ask you to be his and only his for the rest of your life. The thought of you being his made him happy. All he wanted was for you to say yes, that was his greatest wish. That was his only wish.

At dusk that day, the sun was setting, giving the sky a wonderful pink, purple and orange colour. When he brought you up on deck he said he wanted to talk to you. But that wasn't the case, instead of saying where you should set sail for, he started saying all the things he loved about you and how you made him the happiest man in the whole world, then it happend. He got down on one knee and asked " will you be mine ?"

You smiled at the memory, when all of a sudden you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist and a rough voice whisper in your ear "what are you thinking of ?" you couldn't help a soft giggle escape your lips as you answered "just the day you proposed" and you just stood there wrapped up in his embrace looking out over the waves remembering the day you got married. Needless to say you don't remember much, as just after you got married the Black Pearl was a mess and the crew had the hangover of a lifetime.

Gold no longer had value, and money did not bring him happiness. no amount of wealth or gold made him happy.

To Captain Jack Sparrow you where his greatest treasure.

gothica: hi there sorry there was no update i didn't have enough time to sit down and do some edditing so I finally did it yeah. just be happy you didn't have to read what she wrote before i got to it. hope you enjoyed the chapter because it was a pain to edit.
