The Takeover

In a world of anarchy, there are no rules, it's either kill or be killed. 

At the age of 22, Artemis Blackwell has the responsibility of keeping the compound safe and protecting the only thing she loves, her sister. 

After a government takeover ensues, the world is left in shambles, those who survived are forced to build everything back up from the rubble but things will never be the same, never. 

Common Grove is all Artemis knowns, the only place she can call home. A large compound secured by 4 large walls, is kept under constant surveillance, to keep its people safe from the outside world.

"There is no escaping the reality of the world around us and eventually, we all are going to die."

This story is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia.
