VIOLETS POV

i made my way into the small lobby area, my brothers trailing behind me in a slow pace. i look around to find someone who would help us around.

"are you guys the new kids?" a small voice asked. i turned around to see a girl with dark brunette hair, the front cut into a longer set of bangs. she was shorter than me, but way prettier. a sweet smile was plastered on her face, bringing out her freckled features.

"hi, i'm deborah. you can call be debby, though." she stuck her hand out for me to shake it. i hesitantly took it, feeling a friendly bond forming.

"i'm gonna be showing you around." she said as she led us out the door.

time skip

deborah and i stood outside of my first period class. i had figured out that we have almost every class together.

"so, judging that you're new, and you don't really know anybody, would you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" debby asked in her small toned voice. a smile appeared on my face as i nodded.

"great! i'll be expecting you!" she grinned in her 'happy-go-lucky' state, and walked off.

i guess i'll really have friends this year.

i waltzed into the cafeteria, debby next to me. people turned to face me. girls looked at me up and down, boys looked at me, their eyes scraping my body features, which made me uncomfortable.

"this way," debby had said, leading me to a table near the back. a few people had been sitting there already, engaged in a conversation.

"i'm telling you, sammy. the breakfast club is the best movie." a boy with short hair said. the girl he was talking to had blonde hair, and pretty blue eyes.

"no, it isnt, charles. you're just really stupid."

"guys, would you stop bickering!" a somewhat familiar voice had said.

"hey, guys. this is violet, she's new," debby told the others at the table.

"violet, this is charlie," 'charlie' gave me a sly half smile.

"samantha," she pointed to the blue eyed girl. she gave me a warm grin.

"and this is.. chase." she pointed to a boy on the opposite side of me. i looked over to see the dumbass that fell on top of me in the courtyard.

i looked at him with wide eyes.

fuck.

hey! sorry about the slow updates, and short chapters. i've been kinda busy, but i'm working on this book! i'll be adding characters at the end of their introduction chapters!
