It was a breezy day in Manhattan, New York. Not too warm, not too cold, but enough to annoy people and have them wishing it was summer already. Sure it might've been the warmest day of the year so far at 47 degrees, but who's to say that would last? While people walked around with their light jackets on, admiring the sky scraper buildings that looked like they could touch the sky, a young man dressed in dress pants, a trench coat and hat strolled pass the nearby park looking anything but friendly. A woman close by kept a watchful eye on him, as she sensed that something was off. As the young man approached the park, where the middle school kids were having a little outing, he nonchalantly looked from one side of the road to the other, peering around cars as if looking for someone. He then continued to the park where he entered and sat on a bench near the slides. While he was sitting there, a little boy, no older than 11 noticed the suspicious looking stranger. He sat on the swing and carefully watched the man with nervous eyes. He breathed evenly and calmed himself down. He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out the medallion that his uncle Danny gave him last time he was at his office, the little boy was Matt Reagan, nephew of PC Danny Reagan.
He continued swinging and kept a close eye on the man. A few seconds later, he noticed the man inch closer to a little girl on the monkey bars. He ran over to the girl on the monkey bars and started making conversation, "Hey, Alyssa, um, you wanna come swing with me?"
Alyssa shook her head, "I just got done swinging Matt."
Matt said, "Well, we could go shoot basketball or something? Bet I could beat you in horse."
Alyssa said, "You're acting weird, but ok you're on!"
Matt sighed a breathe of relief and followed Alyssa over to the basketball court. While they were playing, Matt glanced over to the man who was now inching closer to someone else who just got on the monkey bars. Instead of running over to the kid on the monkey bars, Matt ran over to where the teachers were sitting and began telling them what was going on, continually glancing over the man to make sure nothing happened, "Mrs. Langston, there's weird man sitting on that bench over there and he-"
Mes Langston interrupted, "Matthew Reagan! You shouldn't judge people because you don't know them. He has the right to sit and be where ever he pleases."
Matt sighed, "But Mrs Langston, Alyssa was on the monkey bars and he kept moving closer to her just like he's doing to Kent now!"
Mrs. Langston rolled her eyes, "Mr. Reagan, just because your uncle is the Police Commissioner, doesn't mean that you know everything about law enforcement. Now go on".
Matt huffed, "I don't mean to be rude, but as a teacher you should be able to see that having that man acting that way is making me uncomfortable so do me a favor and please just keep your eye on him."
Mrs. Langston squinted, "Don't tell me how to do my job Mr. Reagan. Leave my sight right now or you're going to get detention."
Matt scoffed and walked off; he said to himself, "Sorriest excuse for a teacher if I've ever seen one. You need glasses....and common sense,"
Matt looked over to his teacher and noticed that her body seemed rather small in comparison to her head, "And a normal sized head. Geez, did you put Botox in there?"
Matt turned towards the slides and saw that the man was only a few inches away from Kent now. He ran up to Kent and pulled him away, yelling at the strange man, "Leave him alone or I'm calling 911!"
The man turned and ran out of the park, sprinting away down East 23rd street. Kent said, "Thanks Matt."
Matt said, "Of course."
Kent smiled and gave Matt a handshake.

Meanwhile, up the street in the DA's office, Erin was having trouble of her own.
