While Erin was in her office talking to the DA's detective Anthony Abetemarco, her older brother Danny barged in, heated. She said, "Danny, you can't just barge in! What if I was having an important meeting with a client?"
Danny ignored the question, "Did you deny my partner a warrant?"
Anthony said, "Did you have enough evidence to support the need for a warrant?"
Danny squinted at him, "Mind your twinkies, this is between me and my sister."
Anthony stood up, "I'm not gonna let you be rude to her!"
Erin said, "Enough! Both of you. Yes, Danny I denied the warrant. She didn't present any concrete evidence it was all circumstantial."
Danny squinted, "We had a witness, and a line up!"
Erin said, "You have no murder weapon and your only witness is an 80 year old woman with Dementia, I highly doubt that qualifies as a liable witness."
Danny scoffed, "Its still a witness and she still picked the guy out of a lineup."
Erin said, "No murder weapon, no warrant."
Danny said, "In case you forgot, I'm the police commissioner."
Erin smirked, "Yeah and you're still a detective so like it or not I have the authority to deny you a warrant. Maybe you should rethink your career."
Danny huffed, "Well, what do I tell Tim Gallagher then huh? My sister has an attitude and doesn't want to get his daughter's killer off the streets? Nice, judge Judy, nice."
Erin squinted, "First off I'm not a judge, second off very funny. If you think that joke is gonna get you a warrant your wrong."
Danny waved her off, then walked out of her office and made his way back to his precinct.
Anthony said, "No offense, but your brother is a major asshole."
Erin said, "So I've been told."
At that moment, Erin's younger brother Jamie walked in, "Hey, I've got a favor to ask."
Erin rolled her eyes, "They should put that on your and Danny's tombstones."
Jamie said, "Danny was just in here?"
Erin sighed, "Yes and he tried to use his 'I'm the police commissioner' card on me to get a warrant. Needless to say it didn't work for him."
Jamie said, "Look, I came up here because there was some guy at the precinct investigating me, and said that you sent them!"
Erin said, "You know the older you get the more you become like Danny. I sent some one to investigate you because several people from your precinct have said you are an unlawfully unequal Sargent."
Jamie said, "What the hell does that mean?"
Erin said, "It means you don't treat people equally."
Jamie said, "That's a lie! Look my favor I was gonna ask is if you would get them out of my precinct. They're slowing us down by taking us away from our other jobs to answer their questions."
Erin rubbed her head, "Ok, I'll call Keenan and talk to him."
Jamie said, "Thank you."
Erin said, "Soon."
Jamie looked at Erin in shock, "What?"
Erin smirked, "Bye, see ya Sunday."
Jamie scoffed and walked off. Anthony looked at Erin and said, "Favors, favors, favors. Do they ever do you any favors?"
Erin said, "You'd be surprised..you'd really be surprised."
