" Go talk to her. Now! " Alby screams. Newt rolls his eyes, and walks into the deadheads where Y/N went into.

" Nothing. I'm thinking the tree is you, " Y/N snaps back. Another one shot bullseye. " Alby says this is how I can get out my anger against you instead of actually physically hurting you. But you know it's not working what a surprise, " she comments back being as rude as ever.
" Why do you hate me? " Newt asks. She freezes in her stance.
" You got my only good job taken away from me Newt. Why wouldn't I hate you? " She asks going back to shooting her arrow.

It was on the night Thomas got there. Of Gally made his special drink, which gets everyone pretty weird. Of course Newt always hung with Y/N, and that's how there friendship began.
After Newt took Thomas to his hammock, Newt sees Y/N on the watch tower. " Newt you going to bed? " Thomas asks.
" I'll be back, " Newt comments walking to the watch tower.

" Newt actually, " Newt says poking his head above to see a sad Y/N. " Are you okay? " Newt asks.
" Yeah, it's nothing, " she mutters. Newt stands up, and goes to sit right by Y/N.
" It seems like something, what's wrong Y/N/N? " Newt asks.
" Me. I'm the one that's wrong. I don't fit here. No one likes me, and are we even sure we're going to get out? I want to live. Come on I don't know if in my past life like did I ever kiss someone? Did I sleep with someone? Was I a track star or was I a nerd? I just want to know about my past, " Y/N comments.
" You're not wrong. We're placed here for a reason. People like you. I like you and I don't know if we're going to get out. But I also want to live. Knowing about our past lives could cause problems, " Newt says. They are sitting crisscrossed in front of each other as the sun goes down.
" Kiss me, " she mumbles.
" What? " Newt asks.
" Kiss me, " she says again. Newt doesn't say another word, but just leans in to kiss her. She begins to kiss him back, and eventually their shirts come up. Then Newt moves to lay Y/N down on the watch towers' floor. Y/N wraps her legs around him, and pulls him towards her.
" You took advantage of me Newt, " she mumbles.
" I would never. Do remember me asking if you're sure, and making sure you're okay? I wanted you to be comfortable with this. You shank and you don't even realize that I'm in love with you, " Newt comments. They both freeze where they were.
" You love me? " She asks.
" I've always had, " he says walking forward to her, and kisses her.
" I love you too, " she mumbles into his lips which just makes him smile.
