I sat there in front of my phone waiting for people join. I don't go live often so it'll take a bit, and I'm happy it did cuz I was nervous this is my first chance to shut down this rumor and I can't blow it.
It's been 5 minutes and I think I'm ready To start addressing it. And there's already people saying "where's Maddie?" And "Are you confirming it" and if it couldn't get worse Maddie joins with a "Hey shamu🙂" and the comments went crazy again so I just started. "So guys there's been a big rumor going around that me and Maddie are dating". "And it's false obviously". I state with a chuckle.
The comments are a mix of " I knew it" And "he's lying" but the Maddie commented again saying guest her so i did knowing she would side with me, it took a few seconds for her to accept it.
She popped up at the bottom of my screen looking different, she was wearing makeup and she's normally natural. Maybe she just finished a photo shoot, but she looks nice. "Hey shamy" She said with a smile. "Wassap mads" "So where the hell did this rumor come from?" She says genuinely confused. "It was Kenny". "If your up here ken, I'm going to hurt you". I was kinda scared for him even if he did deserve it.
"Calm down girl, but can you just say it so all of this could be over with". I say slightly annoyed with all of this. "Okay, me and Sean are...." The long silence nerved me. "Just friends were not dating". I could finally breathe again. "So there's no tea guys". I say and Maddie started cackling, probably because I never use that word. But after that we just talked like any other time. The comments about us calmed down a bit and I was so relieved and happy because I didn't want to lose another friendship over a rumor.

I don't like how I wrote this chapter but hopefully you guys do. Oh and Maddie calling Sean "shamu" And "shamy" isn't a typo or anything she has special nicknames for everyone in the group. And you guys may be like "finally this Sean and Maddie thing is over" but they're far from over, just like I said this book is slow paced😉
