Kaycee's POV

I slowly open the door with a strong feeling I'm gonna be disappointed. As I'm walking in Sean greets me with a quick side hug which was different than usual because he always greets me with a tight hug and due to our height difference it's like he's holding my head lol, I liked that. I just excuse it because maybe he's excited today and just forgot, not that it is something special he should remember. "Hey Kaycee, your here earlier than I expected". "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt anything". "No nothing like that, I just expected you to arrive with the rest of the group they were carpool but it isn't their car so uberpooling..?". "Forget it, but Kaycee the only time you get like this is when your nervous or upset what's wrong?" "Well I-". Maddie interrupted, walking in taking a sip from her water bottle and shaking it a little. Sean noticed and let out a loud cackle. Ofc she ruins the moment but without freaking trying! "Hey Kaycee, your here early". Maddie says slowly turning to me, flashing a small smile. God why do I dislike her she's so nice. "Hey Maddie, I just didn't get the carpool invite". "Uberpooling". Sean says under his breath but loud enough for us to hear. "Sean your such a dork". "Your so mean to me". "No I'm not". "I remember when you said I looked like a sloth!" "Well you did, I would be a bad friend if I didn't tell the truth right Kaycee". Maddie said looking my way. I just put on an unamused smile and nodded, I thought they would catch a hint but they just continued. In that moment I think god saw I needed help in this moment and blessed me, the door bell rings and I see Kenneth, bailey, and tahani through the window. I'm so happy i didn't have to sit through whatever the hell that was any longer before I would rip my ears off. But luckily I won't suffer alone now that they're here.

Ik I haven't updated in a while but school has been destroying me and Ik this chapter was bad I didn't edit this chapter I just let the ideas come and I wrote whatever I thought of. But unfortunately I'm not back on a updating streak because I'm so busy with school but I may update here and there due to my procrastination with projects that are most of my grade😭see you next time I update.
