<•Liam's 3rd person POV•>

The rest of the week went by quickly, with noticeable changes. Lai and Birdie had both moved to sit by the people at Finny's table, much to Elizabeth's disappointment. Every time she saw Birdie she either ignored her or stiffly exchanged about two to three words before leaving, and with Lai she simply spoke incomprehensible mutterings. Liam seemed a lot more reserved and quiet, only talking to Elizabeth or, on some occasions, Brady, with the exception of when he needed to in class. Every time Finny had attempted to beat up Liam, Brady had always been present, so he never got the chance. Charles stayed as submissive as ever, causing Brady to begin suspecting Liam's claims had been true.

But finally, at a Friday's end, the party would soon commence. But not after Liam reapplies his bandages that enveloped his arms to the biceps. Really, he had never meant to cut that far up, but he just couldn't help himself. He had run out of space, and he knew he deserved more pain, so he just kept going higher and higher. So now that that was taken care of, he started off to the party. The celebration itself was supposed to start at 5:30, but Liam had left his house as soon as possible after doing some stuff in the bathroom and then telling his mother where he was going.

She understood, but exclaimed, "Oh, Elizabeth Afton you say? I've met her before... She's such a darling girl. Maybe..just maybe... in the future, I might actually have a daughter..." she had fallen into her own little trance after that, talking to herself softly with a creepy smile on her face. On his way out Liam had cringed ever-so-slightly. He didn't want a future like that for Elizabeth, and he certainly didn't have any... romantic feelings tworeds her.., correct? Well, how could he know. He had never experienced love before. It wasn't something that was necessary for survival, so why did he need it?

He had walked all the way to the pizzeria, getting directions on a map app on his phone, arriving approximately an hour and forty-five minutes early. What a long night it would be.

The pizzeria seemed to be two stories tall, with large glass windows. It was painted a bright red color, with red and white shingles overhead. Two large wooden doors stood directly in the middle of the front.

Liam stood there, taking in the sight.

"Oh, hey, Liam! You sure are really early. What gives?" A childish voice rang in his ears. He whirled around, guessing who it was. Sure enough, it was Elizabeth, but someone else too. Walking tworeds him, she accompanied a rather tall, pale, sickly looking man casting a shadow over her. "Oh yeah! You two have never been introduced. Daddy, this is Liam, my bestie. Liam, this is my dad, William Afton."

Willam stared long and hard at Liam, but finally closed his eyes, sighing, and nodded. Approved. Pride rushed into Liam's heart, but he didn't have any idea why. "Good to meet you, sir."

"As to you." Afton said back, eyes dull. Elizabeth smiles happily then cocked her head.

"Hey, Liam, you never answered my question. Why are you here so early?"

"Er- well, um..." Liam wanted to tell her, but her father was here, and he didn't want anybody else to know of his situation. "I'll just tell you later. Right now, though, I'm here to help with any last-minute party planning."

"Oh! Yeah.. we can talk later." She gave a knowing sad smile. "And.., thanks. We still need to tidy up a bit and check on the employees."

And so, the two went into the brand-new pizzeria with excitement, chatting speedily, while William sulkily drifted behind them. Traveling to the kitchen, Liam spotted right away an empty stage. What's that for?
